The Ilocos Sur Environmental Enthusiast โ Narvacan (ISEE Narvacan), led by its dedicated President, Mr. Mark Lorenzo Corpuz, together with VP External, Scouty Tablada Bejarin, successfully attended Project Tungtungan, a capacity-building seminar designed to equip Local Government Units (LGUs) with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to strengthen their environmental management initiatives.
The seminar was graced by the presence of esteemed partners and leaders:
๐ฑDENR-RO1
๐ฑ Hon. SBM Popong De La Cuadra, Chairperson โ Committee on Environment
๐ฑ Hon. Pamela Gasmen, SKF Representative
๐ฑ Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO โ Narvacan)
Together, participants engaged in meaningful discussions on sustainable practices, policy development, community engagement, and long-term solutions that will ensure the protection and conservation of Narvacanโs natural resources.
๐ก The heart of Project Tungtungan lies in its name โ โtungtungan,โ meaning a platform or foundation where ideas, solutions, and partnerships are built. This initiative emphasized collaboration between LGUs, youth leaders, and community stakeholders in order to create a resilient, eco-conscious, and sustainable Narvacan.
With the combined efforts of our local officials, environmental advocates, and youth leaders, this seminar is not just a one-day activity but a stepping stone towards greater action for our environment. ๐๐
๐ Congratulations to all the organizers, speakers, and participants for making Project Tungtungan a success! May this spark stronger partnerships and more impactful environmental programs in our community.
