LGU Narvacan welcomes 30 SPES beneficiaries
The Local Government Unit of Narvacan formally welcomed 30 student-beneficiaries of the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) during their orientation and deployment held this morning of May 7, 2026.
This significant activity marks the official commencement of their short-term employment with the LGU as beneficiaries of SPES, a program of the ๐ฟ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ฉ๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐ค๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ง ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ก๐ค๐ฎ๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ (๐ฟ๐๐๐), in cooperation with the ๐๐๐-๐๐๐ง๐ซ๐๐๐๐ฃ, which aims at assisting deserving students in pursuing their education by providing them with productive and meaningful employment during school breaks.
During the orientation given by Mr. Kevin Keith A. Dela Rosa, SPES Focal Person from the DOLE Ilocos Sur Field Office and Mrs. Luisa M. Regua, PESO Manager of LGU Narvacan, the beneficiaries were briefed on the objectives, qualifications and benefits of the program, their duties and responsibilities as student-workers in public service, workplace conduct, and the expected outputs of their respective assignments.
The 30 beneficiaries have been deployed to the offices and departments within the municipal government, where they will engage in clerical and administrative tasks under the guidance of their office supervisors.
