🧩 𝙏𝙒𝙄𝙎𝙏, 𝙏𝙐𝙍𝙉, 𝙎𝙊𝙇𝙑𝙀 — 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝘾𝙐𝘽𝙀 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙀𝙉𝙂𝙀 𝙄𝙎 𝘿𝙊𝙉𝙀!

The Rubik’s Cube Challenge has officially wrapped up! Our participants showed incredible focus, patience, strategy, and problem-solving skills as they raced to solve their scrambled cubes. Every twist and turn was a test of logic and determination, making each solved cube a well-earned achievement!

A huge congratulations to everyone who participated and gave their best, Whether you solved the cube quickly or simply challenged yourself to finish it, your effort truly deserves recognition.

From carefully planning every move to racing against the clock, our participants showed incredible patience, focus, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Each disk moved brought them one step closer to conquering the tower!

𝗞𝗔𝗛𝗨𝗟𝗨𝗚𝗔𝗡: Ang 𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘢 ay isang bilang na nagsasaad kung ilang beses ginagamit bilang salik ang isang bilang sa paulit-ulit na pagpaparami. Sa matematika, ito ay tinatawag na 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒏𝒕.

𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗔𝗡: Sa ekspresyong (2^3), ang 2 ay tinatawag na 𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒆, habang ang 3 ang 𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒂. Ibig sabihin, ang 2 ay ginagamit na salik nang tatlong beses: 2 × 2 × 2 = 8.

Numbers, challenges, creativity, and a whole lot of fun, The ALAMATH CLUB is getting ready for an exciting term ahead! Our latest club meeting was a productive one as we welcome the new members of the family and talked about important matters, including the Constitution and By-Laws, club shirt, and the end of term block activities. It was also a chance for everyone to stay updated and prepare for what’s coming next.

We also went over the activities that will put our skills and teamwork to the test, including Tower of Hanoi, Rubik’s Competition, 2048 Game, Block Blast Tournament and the Human Calculator Challenge. Each activity gives us a chance to learn, compete, and, most importantly, enjoy math in a different way.

But the fun doesn’t stop there, We’re also preparing for our performance-based competitions: Math Tune, Math Beat: “Numbers in Motion,” Math Mania: Math Comics, and Math Wizards Race. With creativity, teamwork, and a little competitive spirit, we’re ready to make this term full of exciting experiences and unforgettable math filled moments! 💙

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝘽𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 “=”
Did you know? The symbol “=” was introduced by Welsh mathematician Robert Recorde in 1557. He chose two parallel lines to represent equality because he believed that no two things could be more equal. Before the symbol became widely used, mathematicians often had to write out phrases to show that two values were equal. Though it may look simple, the equals sign made mathematical writing clearer, faster, and easier to understand.
