RCMET 8th Regular Club Meeting | October 23, 2026

An evening of meaningful fellowship, learning, and inspiration!

The Rotary Club of Metro East Taytay (RCMET) held its 8th Regular Club Meeting, attended by RCMET members and Assistant Governor AJ Cabarles, featuring an informative and insightful talk by PP Erwyn Alcomendras of RC Makati San Lorenzo, District 3830, on The Rotary Foundation Grants Program.

It was an enriching session, as we gained valuable knowledge on how Rotary Foundation grants can help us plan, implement, and sustain impactful service projects. PP Erwyn shared valuable insights that deepened our understanding of grant opportunities and how we can maximize them to create meaningful and lasting change in the communities we serve.

Our heartfelt thanks to PP Erwyn for generously sharing his knowledge and expertise, and to AG AJ Cabarles for joining us in this meaningful gathering. Your presence and contributions made the evening even more memorable.

Through continuous learning, fellowship, and service, we strengthen our commitment to developing sustainable projects that make a real difference in the lives of others.

RCMET’s Isang Patak, Isang Hakbang sa Polio Free na Kinabukasan

In celebration of World Polio Day on October 24, the Rotary Club of Metro East Taytay (RCMET), in partnership with the Rotaract Club of Metro East Taytay and the Barangay Government of San Roque, Angono, Rizal, conducts its own END POLIO NOW service activity today, October 23, 2026, at Sitio Manggahan, San Roque, Angono, Rizal.

This initiative builds on RCMET’s own END POLIO NOW Kickoff held on October 1, 2026, demonstrating our club’s unwavering commitment to Rotary’s global mission to eradicate polio.

Beyond the kickoff, we continue to bring this mission directly to our communities by supporting polio immunization and helping protect our children from this preventable disease.

Every child vaccinated brings us one step closer to a polio-free world. Together, let us strengthen awareness, promote immunization, and inspire collective action until polio is eradicated everywhere.

Even beyond our service projects, we continue to spread awareness and promote the mission of Rotary to End Polio Now!

Today, we are putting up our End Polio Now billboard and The Four-Way Test as a reminder of Rotary’s commitment to a polio-free world and to the values that guide our actions.

Through simple acts of service, teamwork, and dedication, we show that creating lasting impact starts with taking action in our own communities.

Together, let us continue to raise awareness, inspire others, and work toward a world where no child will ever suffer from polio again.
