OPLAN SEMANA SANTA 2026

The Local Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (LDRRMO)-Samboan headed by Mr. John Louie H. Fuentes, together with SAVER’s headed by Mr. Francisco Tancio Jr.-President, ensures operational readiness and preparedness and on standby alert to provide efficient and effective services as the need arises in commemoration of Holy Week 2026.

Oplan Semana Santa is an annual public safety and emergency preparedness program conducted during the observance of Holy Week. It aims to ensure safety, security and well-being of the public as people travel, participate in religious activities.

COASTAL CLEAN-UP AND CROWN-OF-THORNS (COTS) STARFISH REMOVAL 🌊

The Local Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (LDRRMO)-Samboan headed by Mr. John Louie H. Fuentes/MENRO, participated the Clean-up Activity together with the BFP, Bantay Dagat & Brgy. Suba-Councilors in coordination with DENR.

Today’s coastal cleanup and the removal of crowns-of-thorns starfish are vital in protecting marine ecosystems and ensuring the sustainability of coastal resources. These activities help produce pollution, save coral reefs, and promote unity and environmental awareness in the community. By continuing and supporting such efforts, we take an important step toward preserving our oceans for future generations.

In line with Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026, the LGU supports the directive for all government agencies and instrumentalities to strictly adopt energy conservation protocols.

In compliance with this directive, all LGU offices will operate from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, while Fridays to Sundays will be observed as no-work days to help reduce energy consumption.

Please be advised that essential departments such as the RHU, DRRMO, and Waterworks will remain on call and on standby to ensure that urgent and basic services continue to be delivered to the public.

We ask for everyone’s understanding and cooperation as we work together to conserve energy and promote responsible use of resources. 💡🌱
