We often forget that to be a true leader, we must embrace humility, to truly understand the needs of the last, the least, and the lost. If every president, royalty, and leader were to acknowledge and practice the virtue of humility, conflicts and wars might cease, and we could live in a more harmonious world. However, our selfishness, greed, and abuse of power often lead us to forget the needs of the people. The Lord teaches us to be meek, humble, compassionate, and resolute; therefore, we must decrease our ego so that He can be praised, adored, and glorified.
Let us not overlook our collective responsibility in selecting our leaders. You and I can serve as catalysts for positive change or, unfortunately, as instigators of social strife. Let's examine our consciences and seek the truth. Let's thoroughly evaluate individuals before making crucial decisions that will impact our lives for years to come.
