PROTECTING NAGA’S AIR, ONE VEHICLE AT A TIME! 🌿🚗💨

To ensure a healthier environment and cleaner air for every Nagueño, the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (ENRO), through its Anti-Smoke Belching Unit (ASBU), actively conducts roadside emissions testing at key entry and exit points across Naga City.

By monitoring vehicles entering and leaving the city, City ENRO works to reduce harmful greenhouse gases, airborne particulates, and toxic pollutants—enforcing City Ordinance No. 99-084 (The Anti-Smoke Belching Ordinance of Naga City) and supporting the Philippine Clean Air Act (RA 8749).

💚 Why This Operation Matters
Healthier Communities: Cleaner air reduces the risk of respiratory illnesses and cardiovascular issues caused by toxic vehicle emissions.

Environmental Protection: Decreasing carbon emissions helps preserve local ecosystems and keeps Naga green.

Responsible Ownership: Roadside testing reminds drivers and transport operators to maintain their vehicles regularly.

💡 Reminders for Motorists & Operators
Maintain Your Vehicle: Regular tune-ups, air filter replacements, and oil changes help keep emissions within legal limits.

Cooperate with Inspectors: Authorized City ENRO personnel conduct roadside testing using calibrated opacimeters to measure exhaust opacity.

Get Tested: Vehicle owners can also visit City ENRO for voluntary emission testing and compliance certificates.

Clean air is a shared responsibility. Let’s keep Naga City fresh, vibrant, and sustainable for generations to come! 🍃✨

🚨 BARANGAY ABELLA ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT ACTIVATED! 🚨

A cleaner, healthier Brgy. Abella is in the works! Under the DisipliNAGA Program’s "Ronda Kapalibutan," our joint inspection team (City ENRO PCD, Barangay Pollution Control Inspectors, Tanods, BHWs, Lupon, and BPC) has officially started its regular environmental rounds.

Our team is currently inspecting local businesses—checking grease traps, proper wastewater discharge, and business clearances to ensure everyone is doing their part to protect our environment.

We are strictly monitoring compliance with our City's Water Quality Protection ordinances (Ord. 2001-056, Ord. 2000-006, and Ord. 2014-076).

To all business owners and residents, thank you for your cooperation. Let’s keep Naga clean and sustainable! 🤝🌱

Ronda Kapalibutan in Action at Brgy. Mabolo! 🌿🚶‍♂️

Laws look good on paper, but they don't clean our rivers, clear our air, or protect our homes from floods. People do.

When trash is dumped carelessly, our waterways suffer. And when our waterways get choked up, our communities face the consequences—health risks, foul odors, and worse flooding every time it rains.

That’s why we’re not just talking about change; we’re enforcing it.

As part of the DisipliNAGA Program, our Deputized Environmental Enforcers and Barangay Pollution Control Inspectors are officially on the ground. We are actively patrolling, monitoring, and holding violators accountable to keep Naga clean and safe.

The Mission: Catch environmental issues early, protect our natural resources, and build a culture of eco-awareness right here in our neighborhoods.

Our Current Focus in Brgy. Mabolo: Keeping our water clean by strictly enforcing:
✅ Ordinance 2001-056 (Proper Waste Segregation)
✅ Ordinance 2000-006 (Safe Liquid Disposal)
✅ Ordinance 2014-076 (Wastewater Management)

A cleaner Naga starts with discipline. Let’s do our part! 🤝 Enforcer teams are out—let’s work with them, not against them.

♻️ REGULAR ENVIRONMENTAL PATROLLING | BARANGAY IGUALDAD 🚮

The Environmental Enforcer Team of Barangay Abella, led by Barangay Kagawad Esmher David, continues to conduct regular patrols and monitoring at the entry and exit points of the barangay to prevent the illegal dumping of garbage by outsiders and non-residents.

The team also monitors the activities of scavengers and small garbage/trash haulers or transporters who may be commissioned by individuals from outside Barangay Igualdad to collect or dispose of waste within the community.

As part of the patrol, Environmental Enforcers continuously remind residents and visitors to practice proper waste management and issue Environmental Violation Tickets to those found violating existing environmental laws and ordinances.

Together, we ensure strict compliance with:
✅ Republic Act No. 9003 – Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000
✅ City Ordinance No. 2019-054 – Plastic Ordinance
✅ City Ordinance No. 2001-056 – Proper Waste Disposal, Waste Segregation, and Mandatory Trash Can Ordinance

Let's work together to keep Barangay Igualdad clean, orderly, and environmentally responsible.

Disiplina sa Basura, Responsibilidad ng Lahat! 🌱💚

📢 BARANGAY STA. CRUZ & CONCEPCION GRANDE ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCERS UPDATE: OPEN BURNING IS ILLEGAL

The Barangay Environmental Enforcers recently responded to an illegal waste-burning incident in a vacant lot, thanks to a prompt report from vigilant residents.

We remind the public that OPEN BURNING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Violators will be fined Php 500.00.

Health Alert: Smoke from burning leaves and trash does not kill mosquitoes. Instead, it severely degrades air quality and triggers respiratory emergencies. During the recent response, one of our enforcers even experienced an asthma attack from smoke inhalation.

Let’s protect our community's health and property. Report violations instantly via the Naga App.
