🌟 BISCAST Holds Inspiring Talk on Volunteerism with Ms. Leciel V. Ramos

With the goal of deepening the understanding and value of service, the BISCAST Volunteer Brigade hosted a meaningful Talk on Volunteerism last March 15, 2025, featuring guest speaker Ms. Leciel V. Ramos, a passionate advocate and practitioner of community engagement.

In her inspiring session, Ms. Ramos emphasized the roles, responsibilities, and impact of volunteers in today’s changing world. She spoke on how every act of volunteerism—whether big or small—contributes to shaping stronger, more compassionate communities. Participants were encouraged to see themselves as agents of positive change, both within and beyond the campus.

She also shared real-life stories and practical insights on how volunteer work not only helps others but also transforms the volunteers themselves—teaching empathy, leadership, and purpose.

The session left students and faculty alike empowered, reminding everyone that volunteerism is not just an activity—it’s a way of life.

💼🌱 BISCAST Entrepreneurship Students Spark Community Empowerment Through CSR Initiative
📍 Carangcang, Magarao, Camarines Sur | 📅 March 15, 2025

With the goal of igniting change beyond the classroom, the BISCAST Entrepreneurship Students and their mini-companies took their mission to the heart of Carangcang, Magarao for a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative themed “Empowering Community Towards Success: Negosyo Para sa Kinabukasan.”

Held on March 15, 2025, the activity was more than just an outreach—it was an opportunity to inspire entrepreneurial thinking and equip the community with tools for sustainable livelihood. Organized in partnership with SK Carangcang, the event was led by BISCAST’s dynamic mini-companies:

✅ PILIXIR
✅ AERIAN SWEET
✅ and the College of Arts and Sciences Student Guild

Community members participated in learning sessions, product exhibits, and interactive discussions aimed at encouraging innovation, self-reliance, and financial literacy. From showcasing homegrown products to offering practical business tips, the students demonstrated that entrepreneurship is not just about profits—it’s about purpose and people.

This initiative also fostered youth collaboration and community involvement, planting seeds of hope and opportunity for future entrepreneurs in the barangay.

💡🌿 BISCAST Student Entrepreneurs Empower the Youth Through Sustainable Innovation
📍 BUB Building, Palo, Canaman, Camarines Sur | 📅 February 9, 2025

The spirit of innovation and social impact was in full force as the BISCAST Entrepreneurship students and mini-companies held their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative themed “Empowering Youth with Sustainable Entrepreneurship: Utilizing Local Resources Creatively and Profitably” last February 9, 2025, at the BUB Building in Palo, Canaman, Camarines Sur.

The event served as a platform for student entrepreneurs to promote local resource-based enterprises and encourage their fellow youth to explore sustainable livelihood options that blend creativity with community development.

Through product demonstrations, knowledge-sharing sessions, and interactive discussions, the mini-companies showcased how everyday materials, native ingredients, and traditional practices can be transformed into marketable, eco-friendly business ideas. The participants—local youth and aspiring entrepreneurs—were inspired to take initiative, harness their creativity, and see their community as a foundation for business opportunities.

The initiative emphasized that entrepreneurship is not just about profit, but about creating value, solving problems, and building a better future through resourcefulness and collaboration.
