The Ateneo Consortium of Technological, Information, and Computing Sciences (TACTICS) secured multiple awards at this year's Student Organizations Awards and Recognition (SOAR) XII, earning distinctions for organizational excellence, student leadership, and mentorship.

Among the organization's achievements was the Achievement Award in Skills Development, recognizing TACTICS' efforts in providing programs and opportunities that enhance the competencies of its members and the wider student community.

In today’s rapidly evolving digital age, technology has become an essential part of education. From preparing assignments to creating presentations and accessing information online, students are now expected to possess basic computer skills even at an early age. However, while many elementary students are familiar with gadgets and social media platforms, structured knowledge on productivity tools and responsible technology use remains limited.

As part of this meaningful outreach initiative, TACTICS shared snacks with the pupils of Punta Tarawal Elementary School during the week-long Tulong Dunong program organized by the Center for Community Development Volunteers (CCD Voltz).

Through small acts of service and support, we continue to stand with programs that promote learning, community involvement, and care for others. We hope these simple snacks brought extra energy and smiles to the students throughout their activities. ✨

As the sun dipped below the horizon and the sky melted into shades of amber and rose, The Final Commit: Seniors' Tribute 2026 unfolded as a heartfelt send-off to our graduating seniors of the Department of Computer Science and Department of Informatics. 🌴✨

The evening brought together familiar faces, shared stories, and bittersweet goodbyes—a tribute to every late-night debug, every group project survived, and every milestone reached together. 💛

As the final commit is pushed and a new chapter begins, we honor the journey, the memories, and the bonds that will outlast the code. 🌺💫

A special thanks to GilMar Casa De Descanso for opening your beautiful space to us and for the warm hospitality that made our tropical twilight come alive. Your generosity provided the perfect backdrop for an evening our seniors will carry with them for years to come. We are deeply grateful. 💙
