2025 late recap of MMCG's engagements:

After the audition on October 07, 2025, we held a meeting (October 08, 2025) at Jaimeโs Hall, MTHI Building, to get to know each other, build connections, and introduce the officers to the new members. As a president, meeting the new members made me kind of anxiousโworrying and overthinking: โ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ช๐ง ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐บ ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ฏโ๐ต ๐ฑ๐ข๐ณ๐ต๐ช๐ค๐ช๐ฑ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐บ ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต ๐ต๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ธ๐ฆโ๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ช๐ฏ๐ท๐ช๐ต๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฎ ๐ช๐ฏ? So many what ifs were circling in my mind. But I put my trust in them, making them feel at ease and not wanting them to feel that they do not belong in this organization.

After that, we busked for a cause. We went and sang in every room and office that opened and allowed us to sing for them, to show our patriotism and support for the victims of the typhoon โ๐๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐จโ in Masbate City. We collected a total amount of 2,000 PHP, which was given to the NSTP donation drive facilitators for the victims of the typhoon โ๐๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐จ.โ Hearing my members sing their hearts out, use their talent, and show people that they are willing to use their voices to help make my heart melt.

MMCG brought their courage along with their voices to perform during the Mr. and Ms. Intramurals Competition 2025. Hearing the crowd cheering for them while they were singing made me so proud of them for performing in front of many people, even though I heard

Also, during intramurals, our organization helped the OHMS officers cook, clean, and even disseminate food. Kudos to the dedication of some of our members who helped even though they also had personal agendasโthey didnโt fail to show me their willingness to do so.
After the announcement of all the winners and the end of Intramurals 2025, we did a photo opโshowing our best smiles despite being tired from attending the said event, because for us, we are all winners.

And for our last engagement, the Christmas lighting performance. Having limited time to practice due to finals did not stop us from giving our best during the lighting of the schoolโs Christmas tree. We had fun performing and singing with the crowd, feeling the moment of celebration and rest.
All these engagements last year made us realize that we have come so far as oneโnot just in the milestones achieved, but in the bonds we strengthened, the challenges we faced together, and the songs we sang. Hay, how I love being part of this organization.
