โ€ŽYesterday, June 13, the Association of Political Science Students hosted the Senior's Tribute, a momentous occasion dedicated to honoring our graduating seniors' journey of perseverance, growth, and triumph.

โ€ŽWhile this marks the beautiful conclusion of their college journey, it also serves as the threshold of the new paths they are about to pursue. To our graduating seniors, may you always carry the wisdom shared by our PolSci professors: to stand firm in your values and principles, to remain humble, to persevere, and to work courageously. Always remember that life doesn't end when you had your college degree; it truly begins when it concludes.

โ€ŽOn June 12, 1898, the Philippines achieved independence from the Spaniard colonizers. Today, as we commemorate the 128th Philippine Independence Day, we remember that freedom was fought for, and never given.

โ€ŽThis day is more than a commemoration of the Philippineโ€™s Independence day; it is a vital reminder that resistance in the face of injustice is never wrong. Our courageous heroes, and revolutionary leaders stood up against oppression, and as modern Filipinos,we must refuse to stay silent about the issues afflicting our society. We owe it to our heroes, and ourselves to fight for what is right, and what we truly deserve!
