These poor bats were found in the computer lab room of our school. There were about 13 of them, clinging to the windows. Now, there are about 20 of them. Clearly they have lost their habitat from what could be deforestation. Because of this, the bats were forced to move somewhere else they could survive in–and school windows are hardly a home for these animals.

Did you know that, according to a study conducted in 2017 by the Forest Management Bureau, 50 to 100 species are being lost each day due to deforestation? Yes, while we endeavor to improve the state of our urban living, we lose sight of the state of the biodiversity living in these forests. To combat this, Generation Hope PH, a well-known charity that has partnered with the likes of Gary V. and Pia Wurtzbach, plants a coconut tree for every P80 one can donate. And, if you want to go in style, Generation Hope PH has recently launched a shirt line made of 100% recycled plastic bottle shirts with cute designs made by partner Solen Heussaff. According to the environmental group Greenpeace: Nestle, Unilever, Coca-Cola, and Universal Robina, and Colgate-Palmolive are the biggest culprits when it comes to the production of plastics and the improper disposal of trash. This led to the movement.
We here at Students Against Pollution strongly recommend you to use products other than these companies and start the change with you.

🛡️-Protection-🍃

Water is what we need
It shelters the fish that we consume and eat,
Air is what we need and breathe
Polluting it can cause a sneeze.

Oh it's green the grass we need,
The trees we use for our personal needs
Earth is here, It protects and shelters,
All the destroyers, the people who made disasters.

Now it is time to return to its state,
Now it is crumbling for our mistakes,
We are here to protect, not to break,
The home for us that wasn't meant to shake.
