On October 17, the UNC Science Society, together with the Association of Political Science Students, conducted a Mangrove Tree Planting and Coastal Clean-up Drive at Balogo, Pasacao, Camarines Sur.
The UNC Science Society extends its heartfelt gratitude to all Science Society students who actively participated in the initiative, as well as to the Association of Political Science Students for their collaboration and support.
We also express our sincere appreciation to Maโam Sheryl San Andres for leading the seminar on mangrove trees, the Pasacao Mangrove Growers Association, the Local Government Unit of Pasacao, and the officials and community of Barangay Balogo for their invaluable support and contributions to the success of this activity.
May this initiative serve as a reminder that environmental protection is a shared responsibility. As Maโam Sheryl emphasized, caring for the environment requires the efforts and help from everyone. Through collaboration and a shared love for the environment, we can continue to protect our coastal ecosystems and work toward a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
