Empowering young people means empowering communities.

GentleMen Bicol for SRHR, Inc. was honored to serve as a resource partner during the Bato, Camarines Sur Youth Camp 2026, where we engaged young key populations in meaningful discussions on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), HIV, and AIDS.

In support of the activity, SALDANG Support House also conducted free HIV screening, bringing essential HIV testing services closer to the community and encouraging participants to know their status. Together, education and access to services strengthen our collective response to HIV.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government of Bato, Camarines Sur, the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, the Local Youth Development Office, and the SK Federation for their trust and commitment to youth development and public health.

Together, we continue to empower communities through education, prevention, testing, and compassion.

💙 Building a stronger network of HIV advocates in Sorsogon! ❤️

HIV Peer Educators and Community-Based Screening (CBS) Training was successfully conducted on July 28–30, 2026 at People’s Mansion, Sorsogon City.

For the past years, GentleMen Bicol for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Inc. has been honored to partner with the Provincial Government of Sorsogon, Provincial Health Office, and Provincial Youth Development Office in strengthening the province’s HIV response through capacity-building and community engagement.

This certification training equipped participants with essential knowledge and skills on HIV prevention, stigma reduction, sexual and reproductive health, peer education, risk assessment, community-based screening, referral systems, and ethical service delivery. More importantly, it empowered participants to become champions of accurate information, compassionate care, and inclusive communities.

This year’s participants included DepEd personnel, Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), and members of the LGBTQIA+ community, all united by one goal: to help end HIV through education, early testing, and community action.

The fight against HIV cannot be won by the health sector alone. It requires schools, communities, organizations, local governments, and every individual to work together.

Be informed. Get tested. Break the stigma. Support one another. Together, we can build healthier, safer, and more inclusive communities.
