GENTLEMEN BICOL SUCCESSFULLY RENEWS ITS HCT TRAINING OF TRAINERS QUALIFICATION! 🇵🇭❤️

A milestone worth celebrating with gratitude, renewed commitment, and excitement for the work ahead!

GentleMen Bicol for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Inc. (GM Bicol for SRHR) proudly announces that its Founder and President, Richard Hayag, has successfully completed the HIV Counseling and Testing (HCT) Training of Trainers (TOT) conducted by the Department of Health – Disease Prevention and Control Bureau (DOH-DPCB) on October 13–16, 2026, at the Manila Grand Opera Hotel, Manila.

✨ A National-Level Trainer, Revalidated!

This intensive four-day training strengthened competencies in adult learning, effective communication, facilitation, mentoring, training management, and the delivery of the HCT Training and Counseling for HIV Frontline Workers (CCHFW) packages.

Through simulations, peer feedback, and alignment with DOH guidelines, the training reinforced the importance of standardized, competency-based, and quality-assured HIV counseling and testing education across the country.

And here’s the exciting part! Richard Hayag has successfully renewed and revalidated his qualification as a National-Level HCT Trainer in the Philippines! 🇵🇭

This achievement strengthens GM Bicol’s commitment to providing accessible, high-quality HCT training services, particularly for the private sector, including healthcare professionals, non-medical personnel, HIV advocates, NGOs, and community-based organizations working together to strengthen the Philippine HIV response.
