“𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒏 𝒐𝒃𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏—𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒏 𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆.”

On August 9, 2026, Naga College Foundation, Inc. gathered ROTC, CWTS, and LTS students at The Quad for the NSTP General Orientation.

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 9163 (the "National Service Training Program Act of 2001"), the session introduced the program's vision, mission, and core objectives by the NSTP Coordinator, Ms. Marivic Vargas-Balance. More than just a class requirement, NSTP is a transformational journey created to shape disciplined, civic-minded, and service-oriented leaders.

Beyond connecting with facilitators and understanding course expectations, students were challenged to look inward and ask themselves: 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐚𝐦 𝐈, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐨 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞?

As you step into this new chapter, keep this in mind: 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆. 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏. 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚.

May this experience prove that education does not end in the classroom—it comes alive when you develop the heart to serve, the courage to lead, and the dedication to build our nation. 🇵🇭💚
