The visit included the 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, the 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, and the 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺, providing an opportunity to observe the institution’s facilities and ongoing initiatives in supporting engineering education. 𝗭𝘂ñ𝗶𝗴𝗮, 𝗣𝗠𝗘, National Vice President for NCR, representing the National Board of Trustees, together with the 𝗣𝗦𝗠𝗘 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗦𝘂𝗿–𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 headed by 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗮𝗻 𝗕. 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗮, who currently serves as Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department and an instructor at the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀, conducted a meaningful courtesy visit to the institution.

The group paid courtesy to Engr. Leon B. Palmiano IV, Vice President for Auxiliary Services of the University of Nueva Caceres, former Dean of the College of Engineering and Architecture, and former City Engineer of the City of Naga. Notably, Engr. Eric Pablo G. Zuñiga, PME, is a proud alumnus of the University of Nueva Caceres, making the visit even more meaningful. The activity was also supported by the JPSME UNC Student Unit, reflecting the active involvement of future mechanical engineers.

Moments like this help build stronger connections across the engineering community, bringing together leaders, professionals, and students to share knowledge, support one another, and grow together. It’s a reminder that through collaboration, we can continue to raise the standards of the mechanical engineering profession.
