Formerly known as the UNC Non-Academic Awards, GAWAD UNCEANO celebrates students and graduating learners who have excelled in co-curricular and extracurricular activities—those who have demonstrated leadership, service, and excellence while actively contributing to the University and the community.

These awards recognize individuals who embody the spirit of UNC’s core value of Championing Excellence and the University’s aspiration of “𝑀𝒶𝓀𝒶𝓉𝒶𝓅𝑜𝓈, 𝑀𝒶𝑔𝓀𝒶𝓉𝓇𝒶𝒷𝒶𝒽𝑜, 𝒶𝓉 𝑀𝒶𝑔𝓉𝒂𝑔𝓊𝓂𝓅𝒶𝓎.”
