On behalf of the Board of Trustees, we address every member of the BISCAST Alumni Association with candor, accountability, and the profound respect that each alumnus and alumna rightfully deserves.
First and foremost, we extend our sincere and unqualified apology to all who have been affected by the prolonged failure to deliver essential services and fulfill the legitimate obligations of this Association. We especially recognize the deep frustration caused by unresolved matters such as delayed Alumni IDs, unanswered requests, incomplete commitments, and years of uncertainty where prompt action should have prevailed.
We understand why many of you are angry. That anger is neither misplaced nor excessive. It is the natural and justified response of members whose trust was given in good faith, yet not honored with the diligence, responsiveness, and stewardship expected from those entrusted to lead.
The confidence placed by alumni in any governing board is never a casual privilege. It is a fiduciary trust. It carries the solemn duty to act responsibly, transparently, competently, and always in the best interest of the Association and its members. When that trust is neglected, delayed, or disregarded, the injury is not merely administrativeโit is moral, institutional, and deeply personal to those who believed in the organization.
It is therefore our duty to speak plainly. The present Board of Trustees was elected only on March 14, 2026. Upon assuming office, we encountered numerous unresolved matters that had accumulated over time. We found pending obligations left unattended, processes left incomplete, records requiring reconstruction or verification, and services that should have been rendered long ago but remained unfinished.
Many alumni had every reason to believe that their concerns were already being handled. Many waited patiently. Many followed up repeatedly. Many received no clear answers. Many were left carrying disappointment that should never have been theirs to bear. We recognize that pain, and we do not minimize it.
We state these facts not to inflame division, nor to assign blame for its own sake, but because healing cannot begin where truth is hidden. Institutions recover only when realities are acknowledged honestly and corrected decisively.
Let it be clear: the current Board did not inherit titles aloneโwe inherited responsibilities, deficiencies, delays, and the burden of restoring broken confidence. We accepted that burden fully, knowing that leadership is tested most not in moments of comfort, but in moments of challenge.
For this reason, our earliest meetings have been devoted to immediate corrective action: a full review of pending obligations, reconstruction of administrative records where necessary, establishment of proper systems of accountability, implementation of orderly service procedures, and the development of measurable timelines for unresolved concerns, including the processing of Alumni IDs and similar pending commitments.
We likewise affirm a principle that must never again be compromised: positions in this Association are not symbols of prestige. They are offices of service. Leadership is not entitlement. It is stewardship. Authority without responsibility has no rightful place in this institution.
We also understand that statements alone cannot satisfy justified disappointment. Words cannot return lost time. Assurances cannot erase prior neglect. Only consistent action, visible reforms, and fulfilled commitments can begin to restore what was damaged. That is the standard by which we ask to be judged.
To every alumnus and alumna who felt ignored, disappointed, or disillusioned, we hear you now. Your concerns are valid. Your frustration is understood. Your demand for better governance is justified, and your voices matter.

To the entire BISCAST Alumni community, we ask not for blind trust, but for the opportunity to earn trust again through discipline, transparency, humility, and results.
This Association does not belong to a few personalities, nor to any temporary set of officers. It belongs to every graduate whose name, effort, sacrifice, and pride are forever tied to BISCAST. Its credibility is a shared inheritance, and its future is a shared duty.
From the failures of the past, we will build stronger systems. From disappointment, we will restore confidence. From silence, we will bring transparency. From division, we will rebuild unity grounded in accountability and mutual respect.

Together, we will not merely move forwardโwe will rise with purpose. We will restore the honor that was diminished, rebuild the trust that was broken, and renew the noble mission of our Alumni Association. We will transform disappointment into determination, frustration into reform, and past neglect into a future marked by integrity, service, and meaningful results. What was once weakened shall be strengthened. What was once neglected shall be fulfilled. What was once doubted shall again become worthy of pride. And united as one BISCAST family, we will leave to future generations an Alumni Association they can respect, believe in, and proudly call their own. ๐๐๐
