The Philippine Red Cross - Davao de Oro Chapter successfully concluded the 2-day Emergency First Aid Training and 2-day Youth Volunteers Formation Course (YVFC) last April 13-16,2026 at Nuevo Iloco NHS, Mawab, Davao de Oro.

RCY volunteers engaged in lectures, demonstrations, and various kinds of activities throughout the training, which unlock their skills, expertise, knowledge, and creativity.

Looking forward to more activities with these young people of Mawab✨

The Philippine Red Cross - Davao de Oro Chapter attended a Family Development Session in different barangays in Municipality of Montevista:Brgy. Bankerohan Sur, Brgy. Dauman, Brgy. Camantangan, Brgy. Prosperidad and Brgy. San Vicente on April 20-21,2026 respectively.

During the session, an orientation regarding the programs and services of PRC was given, highlighting the Philippine Red Cross Membership Program and RC143.

In addition, DSWD 4Ps Beneficiaries actively participated in the CPR Lecture Demonstration.

We thank the DSWD DAVAO de ORO Region XI, thru the 4PS Provincial Operations Office and the Municipal Links in the Municipality of Montevista, for the continued partnership to capacitate the community.⛑️💫

The Philippine Red Cross - Davao de Oro Chapter proudly joined the National Women’s Month Celebration of the Department of Agrarian Reform DAR Davao de Oro.💚

In support of this meaningful event, our team conducted a Philippine Red Cross Membership Caravan, offered free Blood Pressure Monitoring, and facilitated a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Lecture Demonstration to equip DAR employees with life-saving knowledge and skills.

This initiative highlights our commitment to promoting health, safety, and preparedness—especially in empowering women as champions of resilience in their communities. 💪❤️

Bringing Life-Saving Skills to the Community! ❤️

The Philippine Red Cross - Davao de Oro Chapter proudly joined the Community Outreach Program of the Davao de Oro State College - Montevista Branch Extension Services, reaching young learners across the Municipality of Montevista.

Our team visited Camantangan ES, Banglasan ES, Bankerohan Sur ES, and New Calape ES, where we conducted an engaging CPR lecture-demonstration. It was inspiring to see the students actively participate, eager to learn essential life-saving skills that can make a difference in emergencies.

Through initiatives like this, we continue to promote first aid awareness, preparedness, and a culture of helping one another. Together, we build safer and more resilient communities! ⛑️💪

🏍️ Davao de Oro Motour Ride 2026 – Mission Accomplished!

The Davao de Oro Motour Ride 2026, organized by the Philippine Red Cross - Davao de Oro Chapter – Emergency Response Unit Team, was successfully conducted through the collective efforts of dedicated volunteers and supportive partners. This meaningful activity aims to promote road safety, first aid readiness, disaster preparedness, volunteerism, and cultural appreciation, while also showcasing the beautiful tourism destinations of Davao de Oro.

Through this initiative, the event continues to strengthen community resilience, enhance public safety awareness, and raise funds to strengthen the capacity of the Philippine Red Cross Davao De Oro Chapter - Emergency Response Unit.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our volunteers who generously shared their time, energy, and commitment during the planning, preparation, and implementation of this activity. Your passion for humanitarian service truly made this event a success.

Blood that Saves, Partnerships that Matter 🩸💛

In celebration of the 56th Founding Anniversary of Apex Mining Co., Inc., a successful Mobile Blood Donation Activity was conducted by the Philippine Red Cross - Davao de Oro Chapter at the Apex Mining Co., Inc. Clinic in Masara, Maco, Davao de Oro.

A total of 32 blood units were successfully collected—each unit representing hope, compassion, and a chance to save lives.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Apex Mining Co., Inc. for organizing and supporting this meaningful activity, and to all the generous blood donors who shared the gift of life. Your kindness and willingness to help truly embody the spirit of service and humanity.💛💝

Providing warmth, care, and protection to families affected by flooding caused by continuous rains due to the 🌧️🍲🧼

The Philippine Red Cross - Davao de Oro Chapter conducted hot meals distribution and hygiene promotion at Mipangi Evacuation Center in Nabunturan, Davao de Oro and Bankerohan Norte Evacuation Center in Montevista, Davao de Oro

These efforts aim to support and serve families displaced by flooding as continuous rainfall persists.

The Philippine Red Cross - Davao de Oro Chapter continues to provide support to the affected families through hot meals distribution, hygiene promotion, and the setup of a Welfare Desk to address immediate needs and concerns.

The team served the families in Magading Evacuation Center, Brgy. Magading, Nabunturan (LGU Nabunturan), Monkayo Municipal Evacuation Center, Brgy. Poblacion, Monkayo (Municipality of Monkayo), and Siocon National High School, Brgy. Siocon, Compostela (LGU Compostela).

Through these efforts, PRC ensures not only nourishment, but also dignity, protection, and care for displaced communities during this time of need. 🍲🧼🤍

As of now, 1,421 individuals from different barangays in the Province of Davao de Oro were served by the PRC Davao de Oro Chapter.

With courage and compassion, the Philippine Red Cross Davao De Oro Chapter - Emergency Response Unit assisted in the search and retrieval operation following the landslide in Brgy. Rizal, Monkayo, Davao de Oro, caused by continuous rains due to the shear line.⛑️

Three (3) fatalities were recovered during the operation. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families during this difficult time.🤍

The Philippine Red Cross - Davao de Oro Chapter remains on standby and ready to provide assistance to affected communities as needed.
