On March 30, 2026, with compassion at the heart of its mission, PICPA Davao de Oro proudly carried out the BIGAY BIGAS Project at Cabacungan Elementary School, bringing hope and nourishment directly to its young learners. This initiative reflects the organizationโ€™s enduring commitment to serve communities and empower the next generation through acts of kindness and solidarity.

The project was made possible through the collaboration with Hugood Food Corporation Nabunturan Branch, represented by Mr. Julden Kit A. Daรฑola, and Community Engagement Services Office-ACN, led by Mr. Joshua Gabino. In partnership with Power J Electrical Products and Hardware Materials, who generously provided snacks for the students, and guided by the dedication of Mr. Robert Jhon M. Homigop, Teacher-in-Charge of Cabacungan Elementary School, the activity became a true embodiment of unity, generosity, and shared responsibilityโ€”nourishing both body and spirit while inspiring resilience, gratitude, and hope among students and their families.

A mock job interview and send off ceremony for Senior High School learners was conducted at Compostela National High School to enhance career readiness. The activity gave learners hands-on experience in the interview process, building confidence, professionalism, and communication skills. Through this simulated setting, students were better prepared for future employment and workplace expectations. The event was highlighted by the presence of PICPA President, Mr. James B. Lado, who was invited as keynote speaker, underscoring the importance of bridging academic preparation with professional practice and inspiring students to pursue excellence in their future careers.

On December 3, 2025, PICPA President, Sir James B. Lado attended the meeting with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED), which was followed by a festive Christmas Party. During the gathering, Sir James presented the various activities and accomplishments of PICPA, highlighting the organizationโ€™s continued commitment to professional development, financial literacy, and community engagement.

PICPA recently hosted a Workshop Seminar on Non-Violent Communication (NVC), connecting values and ethics to everyday practice. We were honored to have Father Richie Gomez, MSC, International Speaker from Rome and Commission Head of JPIC (Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation), together with Miss Sally Joy R. Bungabong, retired Assistant Regional Director of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), as speakers.
Their insights inspired JPIAns and professionals alike to embrace communication rooted in empathy, respect, and integrity.
