Donut is Strong: Fighting the Virus with Love 🐾

Donut’s journey has been one of courage and resilience. Recently, he tested positive for a viral infection that left him weak and struggling with watery stool. With veterinary guidance, he was placed on IV dextrose to keep him hydrated while his caregivers worked tirelessly to support him.

💙 Donut’s treatment includes prescribed medications:
• Metronidazole – to help control gut infection and reduce diarrhea
• Colimoxyn – for antibacterial support
• Immunol – to strengthen his immune system
• Energ supplement – mixed into food or water to boost his energy

✨ Despite the challenge, Donut never gave up. He accepted Royal Canin Recovery eagerly—whether by syringe or bowl—and probiotic juice helped restore balance to his digestive system. These small victories gave us hope that his body was fighting back.

💔 Over the past months, FurLover Sanctuary has faced a heartbreaking viral outbreak. We said goodbye to Cala, Lassy, Gate, Thirteen, Grassy, DO, Kevin, Stone, Rock, seven kittens on December 30, Gravel, Dark, and Lost. Each of them carried a story of survival, love, and hope.

On a quiet evening of November 2025, a fragile kitten arrived at FurLover Sanctuary. She was named Lost, yet from the moment she stepped into our care, she was no longer lost at all. She had found a home, a name, and a heart that welcomed her.

Though her time was brief, Lost carried a gentle spirit with her. She reminded us that every life, no matter how small, deserves love and dignity. Her curious eyes and soft presence brought comfort to those around her, and she became part of the sanctuary’s family.

On January 15, 2026, Lost’s journey ended suddenly due to a virus. The pain of her passing is heavy, especially after days of searching and hoping. Yet even in grief, her story is one of love. She was not abandoned, not forgotten, not nameless. She was Lost, and she was cherished...

Her memory now joins the circle of angels—Rock, Stone, Gravel, Dark, the 7 kittens, and others who left too soon. Each one carries a piece of the FLS heart, and together they remind us of the sanctuary’s mission: to give comfort, dignity, and love to every soul, no matter how brief their stay.

Lost’s life, though short, is a testament to compassion. She reminds us that rescue is not only about survival—it is about being seen, being named, and being loved.

He came from the shadows, and left in peace.

Dark was small, silent, and bloated with pain when he arrived. But I saw him—not just his suffering, but his soul. I gave him warmth, food, medicine, and a name that carried mystery and strength.

Through the night, I cleaned him, fed him, prayed for him. I whispered comfort into his fur and wiped away the signs of struggle. And though his body weakened, his spirit was never alone.

At dawn, Dark slipped away. Quietly. Gently. In the sanctuary of love.

He was not just a rescue. He was a reminder that every life matters, even the smallest ones found in the street.

Rest now, Dark. You are remembered. You are loved.

🌧️Born from the Rain: Drizzle, Cold, and Drop

“From a sack of despair to a sanctuary of hope.

On the rainy morning of January 5, 2026, at 6 AM, a buyer arrived early at Flavorful Blend Bakeshop—seeking warmth, unaware she’d become part of a rescue. At our gate lay a tightly bound sack, soaked and silent. She opened it and found three kittens, cold and abandoned.

We told her to turn them over to us. FurLover Sanctuary welcomed them with open arms and a warm quilt. Their names now carry the memory of that storm: Drizzle, Cold, and Drop—symbols of resilience, rebirth, and the quiet power of compassion.

Their story reminds us that even in the rain, kindness finds a way. Flavorful Blend and FurLover Sanctuary stand together as places of comfort, healing, and second chances.
