BSM LEVEL IV STUDY VISIT πŸ₯

The BSM Level IV students successfully conducted their Facility Visit at Bicol Region General Hospital and Geriatric Medical Center last December 12, 2025.

This enriching educational experience provided the students with firsthand exposure to the hospital setting, allowing them to better understand the terms, conditions, policies, and standards upheld in a tertiary healthcare facility, while learning the practical application of midwifery practice in a real clinical environment.

Through meaningful presentations and guided discussions, the students gained deeper insights into hospital protocols, patient care flow, and the vital roles of healthcare professionals in delivering safe and quality maternal and neonatal services. The visit also highlighted the hospital’s exceptional cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards, reflecting its strong commitment to patient care, infection control, and professional excellence.
