Building on the momentum of FINLIT 2026, the Junior Financial Executives (JFINEX) – CSPC Chapter continues to extend its reach beyond campus, strengthening its commitment to community service and empowerment.
In collaboration with the Parole and Probation Administration (PPA) – Iriga City Office, CSPC successfully conducted a meaningful lecture titled “Financial Literacy for Livelihood and Life Skills” on March 17, 2026, at the CSPC LRD AVR.
The session featured Mr. Roque B. Cruz II, BSBA-FM Program Chair, as one of the events Resource Speaker. The activity was facilitated by five (5) BSBA Financial Management student extensionists, together with CTHBM faculty members effectively bridging academic knowledge and community reintegration efforts.
This initiative, under the PPA’s Livelihood Education and Access Program (LEAP) and Continuous Behavioral Rehabilitation Program (CBRP), aimed to equip twenty-six (26) probationers and parolees with essential financial management skills. By promoting financial independence, the program empowers participants to build sustainable livelihoods and supports their successful reintegration into society.
This collaboration underscores that financial intelligence is a powerful tool for “Redeeming Lives and Restoring Relationships.” As CSPCeans, we remain committed to advancing financial literacy as a vital foundation for a more informed, inclusive, and empowered community.
