From the Beginning: Lessons from the Very First Child ✨👶

Last Sunday, May 3rd, our Bible Kids took a step back in time to the very start of the Book of Genesis! We explored the life of the very first child mentioned in Scripture—Cain—and the beginnings of the first family in Genesis 4:1-7.

It’s always a joy to see our kids connect with these "big" stories. This week, we didn’t just talk about history; we talked about the heart.

Here is what our Bible Kids learned this week:

A New Beginning: We talked about the birth of Cain and how every child is a gift and a "help from the Lord."

The "Choice" Offering: We looked at the offerings of Cain and Abel. We taught the kids that God loves it when we give Him our very best—whether it's our chores, our schoolwork, or our worship!

Our Hearts Matter: We focused on verse 7, learning that even when we feel upset or jealous, God encourages us to "do what is right."

We believe that by teaching these foundations early, we are helping our children grow into leaders with strong character and faithful hearts. It was a beautiful morning of growth, laughter, and learning!

Yesterday’s Bible school was a beautiful reminder of how God’s love grows. 🌿 We spent the day teaching the kids about the Garden of Eden and the wonders of His creation. Watching them learn and color their own "Eden" was such a blessing 🙏
