The 34th Provincial Environment Month Culmination Ceremony and Awarding Program successfully recognized the farmers, fisherfolk, and People’s Organizations who continue to prove that environmental protection is best done with heart, hard work and community spirit. With the theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For our Future,” this year’s celebration honored those who protect our forests, uplands, coasts and livelihoods—kay ang pag-amlig sang palibot, indi lang obra, commitment gid.
Leading the recognitions were our Outstanding Integrated Social Forestry Farmers Award--recognizes individual farmers who demonstrate exemplary commitment to sustainable farming, agroforestry and forest protection. Congratulations to all the winners and to our own finalist Rogelio Claridad, Thankful for the opportunity and encouragement of Provincial Environment Management Office.
