Today, March 17, 2026, we are fortunate to take part in an inspiring seminar entitled “Valuing Our Identity: Understanding Gender, Self-Worth, and Our Role in Empowering Girls,” held in celebration of Women’s Month by Oasi Di Gioia Per Bambine Foundation Inc.

Conducted online by Ms. Maria Bella C. Olaguir, Department Head of GAD – BISU Balilihan, the session emphasized a powerful truth we must affirm to the children we care for:
“You are worthy. You are capable. You are enough.”

As Oasi Di Gioia upholds its mission for the young girls, we are called to play an active role in empowering them by:
• Mentoring and guiding with patience
• Providing safe spaces where they can express themselves freely
• Ensuring inclusivity in opportunities and responsibilities
• Teaching skills that build confidence and independence
• Celebrating achievements, no matter how small they may be

: Oasi di Gioia per Bambine Foundation, Inc. recognized as First Social Work Agency in NCR certified for its Adoption and Alternative Child Care Programs and Services

The National Authority for Child Care (NACC), through its RACCO NCR, proudly announced Oasi di Gioia per Bambine Foundation, Inc. as the first Social Work Agency in the region to have satisfactorily complied with the prescribed standards for the Certification of Adoption and Alternative Child Care Programs and Services (AACCPS) in pursuant to Republic Act No. 11642, otherwise known as the Domestic Administrative Adoption and Alternative Child Care Act, and NACC Memorandum Circular No. 3, Series of 2024, which provides the Guidelines on the Certification of Adoption and Alternative Child Care Programs and Services in All Public and Private Social Work Agencies.

The Certificate of Recognition was formally awarded by RACCO NCR Officer-in-Charge Mr. Danilo P. Gatmaitan and Standards, Accreditation, and Monitoring Unit (SAMU) Head Mr. Benson A. Torres on November 3, 2025.

Beyond this distinction, the award underscores the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of child welfare and protection. It reflects their steadfast dedication to building a compassionate system of care that ensures every Filipino child grows in a safe, nurturing, and loving environment.

The NACC extends its deepest appreciation to the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and Directress, Sr. Margie A. Cabantog, for their continuous support of the NACC’s mission and vision.
