Amid the precautionary class suspension due to the influenza-like illness and recent earthquake risks, the ๐ฝ๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ค๐ฌ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐จ๐๐ก๐๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐๐๐๐ข ๐ค๐ ๐๐ช๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ก๐ช๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ก โ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ค๐ง ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ก maximized this time to ensure the continued safety of our students and staff.
The team conducted a ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ฅ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ across all Senior High School buildings to visually assess structural integrity and identify possible hazards before, during, and after disasters. Following the inspection, the ๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐ค๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐๐ฉ๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ญ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐๐ช๐๐จ๐๐๐ง๐จ were carried out to strengthen safety measures in every building.
Led by the BERT President, the team also began ๐ง๐๐๐จ๐จ๐๐จ๐จ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐ค๐ค๐กโ๐จ ๐ฟ๐๐๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ฃ based on the findings from the inspection and recent earthquake drill. The results revealed several concerns such as inadequate alarm systems, chipped flooring, loose ceiling panels, visible cracks in some buildings, limited exit routes, and the use of the designated evacuation area as a parking space, which are just few of the noted hazards within the school premises.
With this, the team will propose new exit routes, an updated evacuation plan, and necessary improvements to address all identified hazards, ensuring a safer and more resilient learning environment for all.
