On April 18, 2026, at the Danilo V. Ayap (DVA) Gym at Lyceum of Alabang, the Reserve Officersโ Training Corps Graduation Ceremony for 2026 took place, gathering cadets in a moment of discipline, honor, and achievement.
With honor, patriotism, and duty. Beneath their pressed uniforms and steady formations lay the weight of early mornings, silent doubts, and the discipline that often goes unapplauded.
The highlight of the event was the relinquishment and assumption of command, marking the formal transfer of leadership from the graduating officers to the incoming set of cadets. This event exemplified the continuity of responsibility and the enduring ideals upheld by the corps, as one batch formally stepped aside and another assumed the mantle of leadership.
The keynote speaker, COL Alvin S Aspiras, ART (GSC) PA, was introduced by LTC Jerson N Napat, INF PA (RES). He emphasized the qualities of discipline, accountability, and service, reminding the cadets to carry these values beyond training into their future roles as responsible citizens and leaders.
He concluded his speech with a remarkable reminder:
The event concluded with closing remarks from LTC Danilo V Ayap, PA (RES), who reinforced the values of honor, patriotism, and duty. The program was hosted by Pvt Yesha Lei A Morong, PA (RES).
