ELA SAN PEDRO - Youth for Christ President
"I make sure that every act of service that I do is rooted in God's Word, and everything that I do, I do it for the people."
Grounded in her faith and driven by a heart for service, Ela believes that true leadership begins with God. For her, leading is not about recognition, but about becoming an instrument of God's love for the community.
Inspired by 1 Corinthians 16:14, "Let all that you do be done in love,". She believes that love is the foundation of meaningful service and the driving force behind every action dedicated to others.
She encourages fellow Lasallians to embrace opportunities to lead, reminding them to take the chance because they never know what God has planned for them. Through leadership, she believes that one can share God's love more deeply and create a lasting impact within the community.
Aligned with the LCV-I: Lasallians are Capable of Leading, her reflection emphasizes that authentic leadership is rooted in the Spirit of Faith, expressed through Zeal for Service, and strengthened by Communion in Mission. By placing God at the center of every act of service, she demonstrates that leadership is ultimately about serving others with love, purpose, and faith.
