Bumwelo na nga at umover sa pasa-boogsh ang ating COMM-mates sa recently concluded 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 ng BA Communication na may temang 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠-𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Mula sa mga nag-aalab na performance, inspiring message of the admins at encouraging words from our guests speakers, talagang they ensured that this year’s GA is gonna be 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒕, 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓-𝒕𝒉𝒆-𝒕𝒐𝒑, and most importantly, 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒀𝑨𝑷!

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Multiple performers upped COMM-mates’ energy at GA 2025

The performers upped the energy of COMM-mates for 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, with the theme: “𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠-𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁” at PLMun Covered Court.

Irish Catherine Atido and Maria Pauline Maguyon, officers from the Mass Media Students’ Society, build the fun atmosphere within the Pamantasan as they perform their astonishing rendition of the medley of Jessie J.

Followed by the thrilling moves of the very own dance troupe of Bachelor of Arts in Communication under MMSS, COMM-andants, as they heated up the stage by performing the afro-centered dance “Anthem” by Jam Republic, ASSI, and WILD.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Mr. Sta. Rosa shared his journey to COMM-mates

“𝘒𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘺𝘢 𝘬𝘰, 𝘬𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘯𝘪𝘺𝘰 𝘳𝘪𝘯.”

Mr. Jomel S. Sta.Rosa, a Magna Cum Laude alumnus of the Pamantasan, delivered a crucial message that might serve as inspiration for every Communication students to their journey; he mentioned that it is acceptable to fail, but make sure to just keep getting back up.

He also emphasized “𝘗𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘪𝘯 𝘯𝘪𝘺𝘰 𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘪 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘰𝘺” as being in a Communication field means facing a lot of hurdles; but, as Communication students, we need to get a grip of it, since aside from being a communicator, we can also be educators, storytellers—and, of course—make a huge impact on the society.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Ms. Del Castillo filled the Pamantasan with her knowledge

“𝘏𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜, 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘰.”

Ms. Shane Candy Del Castillo filled the Pamantasan with her knowledge and experience, as she connected the theme of the 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: “𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠-𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁” to her discussion entitled, “𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌-𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫.”

She introduced the 4Ps in order for one to achieve their goals. Firstly, the planting, wherein one needs to know their environment and skills they possess. Next is the potential. Then, the process wherein she highlighted the importance of undergoing through a process. Lastly, the purpose which emphasizes the outcome of your ambitions.

Most importantly, she mentioned that being a Communication student is not as easy as others thought it was, since it needs a lot of dedication, passion, and commitment.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | One discussion, more lessons

As the 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 with the theme: 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠-𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 kicks off, freshies are more excited to explore the world of communication in the Curriculum Discussion.

Led by the Chairperson of the Department of Communication, Prof. Alda Baarde, LPT, MBA, it seemed to open the minds of every BA Communication student who is currently just opening the door of their chosen program.

It also introduced the people behind the Communication Department, highlighting their fields of expertise. May such discussion be one of the keys in guiding every BA Communication student to the doors they will walk through.

“𝙔𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚—𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚, 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚, 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.”

Dr. Erickson A. Amion takes the stage at the 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 to deliver his inspirational message—encouraging everyone to face challenges with courage, pursue their dreams with passion, and use their voices as tools for positive change.

With the theme “𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠-𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁,” the event continues in full swing as students, faculty, and guests gather at the PLMun Covered Court for an afternoon of wisdom, empowerment, and inspiration.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Prof Salangsang imparted words of wisdom.

An inspiring opening message led by Prof Maria Josefina Salangsang, MAED welcomed communication students at the 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, under the theme: “𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠-𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁,” at the PLMUN Covered court.

Prof. Salangsang imparted words of wisdom as she emphasized that we are not alone in our journey. So, let us remember to unite, communicate, and become the voice for making movement.
