(NLCOM) is a non-profit, non-government organization (NGO) committed to disaster preparation, response, and rehabilitation. New Life Community Care Foundation (NLCOM) was established to respond and reach out to the immediate and long-term needs of families hit by disasters and calamities, such as typhoons, earthquakes, fire, flood, etc. The foundation aims to build partnerships in rebuilding and rehabilitating communities. NLCOM is committed to distribute relief goods as thoroughly as possible, reaching even the farthest and isolated barangays and islands; conduct medical and dental missions; and provide emotional and spiritual care for the adults and children alike, among other similar activities. We also conduct feeding through our Mobile Kitchen Operations and Psychological First aid to disaster-hit areas. NLCOM also assists families and communities in the reconstruction of damaged properties, such as houses, church buildings, schools and day care centres, as well as streets. For weeks, we had been trying to get there.

Since August, we had been looking for a way to reach the families in Sta. Fe, San Marcelino, Zambales, who had been dealing with the effects of severe flooding, affecting homes and public facilities.

After several attempts, we were finally able to reach Sta. Fe on September 18, 2026 and provide relief to 300 families.

We’re grateful to have carried out this response together with New Life Olongapo, our partners, and volunteers who helped make the operation possible.

It took time to reach Sta. Fe, but we kept trying. We’re grateful to everyone who stood with us and helped make this response possible!

On September 7, NLCOM was on the ground in Montalban, extending relief to our Metro Sidewalk Sunday School families affected by the recent flooding.

In partnership with Montalban Presbyterian Mission Church and Metro World Child, we were able to aid 215 families across six sites.

As we visited the creekside homes, the effects of the flood were still unmistakable—the stench of garbage left behind, muddy streets, and the visible damage to homes and the church. Recovery will take time, but we’re grateful for the opportunity to come alongside these families and remind them that their community has not forgotten them.

When communities face difficult days, coming together makes all the difference.

In response to the severe flooding that affected Olongapo, Bataan, and nearby communities, NLCOM, in partnership with New Life Olingapo and New Life Balanga , extended relief assistance to families in the Tipo and Subic areas.

Together, we aided almost 200 families with relief food bags as they begin recovering from the impact of the floods.

Today, we honor the heroes who helped shape our nation—and the everyday heroes who continue to serve their communities.

Some heroes wear uniforms.
Some carry relief bags.
Some prepare meals before sunrise.
Some give what they can.
Some simply choose to show up when someone needs help.

At NLCOM, we are grateful for every volunteer, donor, partner, and community leader who chooses to serve.

Because building a stronger nation starts with people willing to care for one another.

Our hearts go out to every individual and family affected by the recent catastrophes and incidents in our communities. We continue to pray for God’s protection, peace, and comfort over every family impacted.

While the affected communities remain in our thoughts and prayers, we’d also like to take a moment to express our deep appreciation for our dedicated NLCOM volunteers.

Amidst the heavy rain, they showed up as early as 4:30 AM today, faithfully fulfilling their assigned tasks and going out to the sites to serve.

Your commitment to show up and serve, even in challenging circumstances, is a beautiful testament to serving God for His glory.

Prepared and cooked for our community and volunteers today, inspired by this month’s celebration of Buwan ng Wika. 🇵🇭

Today, we remember Ninoy Aquino and the courage, hope, and love for country that he represented.

His life reminds us that serving the Filipino people is not always easy—it calls for courage, sacrifice, and the willingness to stand for what is right.

At NLCOM, we carry that same spirit in our own way: by showing up for our communities, especially in times of need; by choosing compassion over indifference; and by believing that every Filipino deserves to be cared for and given hope.

Today, we honor a legacy by continuing to serve our fellow Filipinos—one community, one family, and one act of compassion at a time.

A meal can fill a stomach, but showing up consistently can fill a heart.

Through our feeding operations, we get to do more than prepare and serve meals. We get to build relationships, share moments, listen to stories, and remind children and families that their community cares.

This is what community looks like: people choosing to show up, serve, and care for one another.

Our partnership with Metro World Child in reaching children with God’s Word and compassion is truly *God-ordained.*

The strength of our growing community of faithful volunteers and the increasing number of children attending Sidewalk Sunday School is *God-inspired*.

The resources that enable us to prepare, transport, and serve hot, nourishing meals are *God-provided*.

We’re especially grateful for the Clipper mini van He provided through a generous partner, allowing us to reach even the narrow streets of Masville, Sucat. Thank God for every person who continues to joyfully add their supply to this ministry!
