Day 1 in General Santos City.

Upon arriving, our team immediately met with our partners from Faith Tabernacle Churches to prepare and pack relief goods for affected communities. We then began our response operations in Barangays Sinawal and Tambler, distributing much-needed assistance to families impacted by the recent earthquake.

Beyond providing relief goods, we also conducted Psychological First Aid for individuals who were visibly shaken by the experience. Many shared that aftershocks continue to be felt almost daily, making recovery not only a physical challenge but an emotional one as well.

As we continue to serve affected communities, we ask for your prayers for our fellow Filipinos. While food, water, and relief supplies are important, healing from fear, uncertainty, and trauma is equally vital.

It is not too late to join forces with us. The more people who get involved, the more families we can reach with practical help, encouragement, and hope.

Fatherhood is more than provision—it is also preparedness.

Whether during storms, emergencies, or uncertain times, fathers who lead with wisdom, calmness, and readiness help create safer homes and stronger families.

This Father’s Day, we honor the men who continuously protect, guide, and stand firm for the people they love.
Because being ready for your family is also an act of love.

Happy Father’s Day from NLCOM.

MINDANAO EARTHQUAKE RESPONSE UPDATE

NLCOM is preparing to deploy a disaster response team to Mindanao next week in partnership with local churches serving affected communities.

Our planned response includes:
✅ Distribution of relief assistance
✅ Deployment of water filtration systems
✅ Psychological First Aid (PFA) for affected individuals and families

As we continue our preparations, we invite individuals, organizations, and partners to stand with us in prayer for the affected communities and our response team. If you feel led to support or collaborate in this effort, please send us a direct message.

Together, we can help ease the burden of those affected, provide comfort in the midst of trauma, and remind every family that they prayed for—that people across the nation are standing with them during this difficult time.

As we celebrate Independence Day, we are reminded that freedom is not only something we inherit—it is something we protect through unity, responsibility, and compassion for one another.

A resilient nation is built when communities are prepared to respond in times of crisis, serve beyond themselves, and stand together through every challenge.

At NLCOM, we believe that loving our nation means caring for its people. Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan!

A magnitude 7.8 offshore Sarangani earthquake has affected communities, leaving many areas without electricity and access to clean water.

Our teams are currently coordinating with local government and partners on the ground, with clean drinking water as one of the most urgent needs.

We are calling on churches, partners, and individuals who are willing to help to join us in bringing immediate relief to affected families.

If you would like to extend support or partner with us, please message us directly.

Flood prevention doesn’t only begin during a storm—it starts with the small responsibilities we practice every day.
Simple actions like cleaning drainage, properly disposing of waste, and protecting important supplies can help keep our homes and communities safer during the rainy season.

Prepared communities are built through everyday awareness and action.
This World Environment Day, let’s remember: Caring for the environment is also caring for people.

The rainy season is here—and preparation starts at home.

Make it your responsibility to keep your family safe by making sure your household is ready for emergencies. A flashlight, first aid kit, clean drinking water, and emergency contacts may seem simple, but they can make a life-saving difference during floods and storms.

Preparedness is not panic. Preparedness is wisdom.

Emergencies don’t wait—so preparation shouldn’t either.

A simple first aid kit at home can make a life-saving difference in critical moments. From small cuts to unexpected situations, being ready means being able to act with confidence and care.

Take a few minutes today to check your kit—or start building one.
Because preparedness is more than awareness… it’s action.

Over 1,000 families were left homeless when fire hit Target Range 2 Dela Rama st. last May 1 and San Antonio Village on May 6 both of which are located in Parañaque City.

But in the midst of tragedy, kindness continues to shine. Last Thursday, NLCOM reached out to about 800 of these fire-affected families through a relief operation filled with care, prayer, and support.

Through the generosity of our donors and volunteers, families received essential goods and encouragement during this difficult time. More than the relief packs distributed, our prayer is that each family felt seen, supported, and reminded that they are not alone.

Seeing the hope and strength in their eyes filled our hearts with gratitude and renewed purpose. Thank you to everyone who helped make this outreach possible. Please continue to keep the affected families in your prayers as they rebuild their homes and lives.
