Lesson learned: When it is green-Go. When it is red-Stop. When it is yellow-Prepare to stop.
The same thing applies to life.

When the Red light is on and when the streets of life gets busy and chaotic, remember to stop and pause. Look back. Check the mirrors and roads.

When the Yellow light is on, remember you can slow down, breathe and pause.

When the Green light says Go and the road is free-Go, walk if you want and run if you must.
Life is meant to be enjoyed.

Enjoy the ride till you finally arrive at your destination.

How to Keep Your Faith in College:
1. Drop fear & declare truth. When you begin to fear what others think, when you begin to fear being alone, or when you begin to fear the future or anything else, call out that fear, denounce it, and declare Truth out loud over and over again until you actually believe it.
2. Don't always go to the party looking for a guy. In other words, go on dates & get to know guys but don't make it your mission to always get a guys attention but instead to live out God's intentions.
3. Get plugged into Godly community early through a local Bible Study or campus ministry. They don't have to be your best friends but don't overlook the importance of community. It'll keep you encouraged and remind you you're not alone on campus.
4. Prioritize your time with God. When your schedule is stressful, it can be easy to neglect your time in the Word. You don't need to be a robot about it but remember that although what you study in your biology book might really matter next week, what you study in your Bible will matter forever.
5. Balance your wheel. You need a balanced amount of fellowship (Christian friends/community) and stewardship (friends that don't share your faith) so that you can be poured into while being a light. Too much stewardship may discourage you in your beliefs and too much fellowship might seclude you in a bubble. While you shouldn't look like the world, you also can't hide from it, either.
6. Take time making friends. Don't just be best buds with anyone who is nice to you. Think about the type of people you really want to spend your time with & energy on. You begin to look like those you surround yourself with–choose wisely.
7. Leave campus regularly. Take breaks from campus life. It's really good to get outside of the college bubble & into the real world to give your soul some breathing room.

Ultimately: Be wise. Love people. Walk with God. And dance a little, would ya?
