𝐋𝐀𝐏 𝐉𝐌𝐘 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐒 | 𝐀 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬

Last January 11, 2025, the Our Lady of the Abandoned Vicariate Commission on Youth held its first monthly formation of the year at the Parish Auditorium, centered on the theme “𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀.”

The formation was led by LAP Youth Ministry’s Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr. Rodrigo “Digs” C. Pecto, Jr., OSJ, who shared inspiring insights and practical ways to live out holiness in our daily lives. Fr. Digs reminded the youth that “𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙮 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨; 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚.”

Young people were guided to see that holiness is within reach, even with our flaws. It is discovered in ordinary, daily actions done with love, patience, and faith. When we offer our routine tasks to God, we grow nearer to Him and let His grace radiate through our everyday lives.

Ang ating Marello Cup XII ngayong taon ay gaganapin sa 𝐌𝐚𝐲 1-3, 2026 sa 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞, 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬 na may temang 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗦 𝗔𝗧 𝗕𝗨𝗞𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗜 𝗛𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦: 𝙆𝘼𝘽𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙮 𝙡𝙖𝙆𝘼𝙎 𝙖𝙩 𝘽𝙐𝙝𝙖𝙮 𝙆𝘼𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙖 𝙨𝙞 𝙃𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨.

Grateful hearts as we closed year 2025. Thank you to every youth who served, laughed, prayed, and grew together in faith. As the year quietly slips into memory, our mission moves forward. To God be all the glory.

𝐋𝐀𝐏 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐒 | 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲

The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) gathered all organization heads last November 22, 2025 for their assembly with the theme "𝙁𝙄𝘼𝙏: 𝙋𝘼𝙂𝙎𝘼𝙉𝙂-𝘼𝙔𝙊𝙉 𝙎𝘼 𝘽𝙄𝙔𝘼𝙔𝘼, 𝙋𝘼𝙂𝙎𝙐𝙇𝙊𝙉𝙂 𝙎𝘼 𝙈𝙄𝙎𝙔𝙊𝙉" 𝙋𝙋𝘾 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙖-𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙤 𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙠𝙮𝙖.

Aiming to discuss ways to strengthen community involvement, the PPC facilitated breakout sessions where organization heads collaborated, which led to fresh initiatives for the betterment of the church. Everyone was able to share their experiences and hopes for the parish.

A roundtable discussion was also conducted, allowing groups to voice concerns and offer suggestions. The meeting ended with a shared commitment to grow together and better serve the community.

Last November 2, we commemorated All Saints’ Day and stepped forward in faith during our March of Saints. It was a simple reminder that we are guided, protected, and inspired by the Saints who walked this path long before us. Their stories remind us to keep going, to choose kindness, and to bring light wherever we can. May we carry their example in the way we live each day.
