As part of its continuous groundwork, the Muntinlupa Development Foundation, Inc. (MDF) has remained actively engaged with partner communities through regular visits over the past several months to further introduce the PILLAR Project and its objectives. These activities help strengthen community awareness, encourage participation, and build meaningful partnerships that support the project's implementation.

On 2 June 2026, the Muntinlupa Development Foundation (MDF), together with Save the Children Philippines (SCP), Partnership of Philippine Support Service Agencies (PHILSSA), and John J. Carroll Institute on Church and Social Issues (ICSI), conducted the Baseline Validation at the Audio-Visual Room, 3rd Floor, Barangay Sucat. Representatives from the four partner communities in Muntinlupa City participated in the activity, which served to validate baseline data that will guide the implementation of the PILLAR Project.

As part of the PILLAR Project, SALIGAN conducted a Training Needs Assessment (TNA) in the areas of Muntinlupa, Quezon City, and Rodriguez, Rizal in preparation for the formation of Community Paralegals. Through listening to the experiences, strengths, and learning needs of participants, the activity helped lay the groundwork for trainings that are rooted in the realities of the communities themselves.

The insights gathered will guide the development of the Paralegal Module and training designs, helping shape future Community Paralegals who can empower others, advocate for justice, and become catalysts for positive change in their communities.

This activity was organized by SALIGAN together with Foundation for the Development of the Urban Poor in Quezon City, Muntinlupa Development Foundation - MDF in Muntinlupa, and Community Organizers Multiversity - CO Multiversity in Rodriguez, Rizal. This activity is funded by the European Union.
