The Youth for Empowerment and Progress (YEP) Muntinlupa proudly celebrates its President, Mr. Rajesh Gumban, MBA, for his exceptional achievement at the Leaders' Convergence 2026: TRANSCENDING – Leadership Beyond Borders last May 27-29,2026 at Pines View Hotel, Baguio City.

Mr. Gumban was conferred with:

🏅 Outstanding Youth Leader Award
🏅 Best Advocacy Award (Governance)

These awards are a testament to his visionary leadership, his unwavering commitment to youth development, and his ability to translate policy into meaningful community action. As the head of our organization, he exemplifies what it means to lead with integrity, competence, and heart.

We also extend our recognition to his fellow delegates, Ms. Shaina Rodolfo, LYDC Member, SK Kagawad Kirk Villaflor, and SK Kagawad Abigail Laurente who also brought home major awards, including Best Policy Presentation (Education), Extra Milestone Award, Servant Leadership Award, and Best Advocacy Award (Education).

Truly, Muntinlupa youth leaders continue to transcend borders and inspire change.

Our YEP President, Rajesh Gumban, MBA successfully sponsored and presented a landmark resolution during the 2nd Quarterly Meeting of the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) of Muntinlupa held last May 21, 2026 at South Park Center Muntinlupa City, which was officially approved by the council in support of empowering young leaders through the BAGANI: Rising Leaders' Development Program - Open Learning Track.

The approved resolution strongly encourages all LYDC members, Sangguniang Kabataan officials, student leaders, and recognized youth and youth-serving organizations in Muntinlupa City to enroll in the fully funded leadership and governance program spearheaded by the Development Academy of the Philippines. The initiative aims to equip Filipino youth with competencies in governance, ethical leadership, public service, systems thinking, innovation, and sustainable community development.

As LYDC Member for Global Mobility, Raj highlighted the importance of creating accessible opportunities that will develop globally competitive, governance-ready, and socially responsible young leaders. Through this resolution, the council recognizes the vital role of continuous learning and capacity-building in strengthening youth participation and advancing meaningful change within communities.

The BAGANI Open Learning Track offers self-paced and competency-based courses focused on youth participation in governance, leadership development, public service excellence, and innovative problem-solving — all designed to prepare the next generation of transformative Filipino leaders.

This milestone reflects the unwavering commitment of the LYDC and youth organizations in Muntinlupa to champion inclusive leadership, youth empowerment, and nation-building through education and public service.

in congratulating PPY Raj for being awarded Rank 1 – Most Outstanding Youth Leader during the Gawad Parangal 2025 of the Sangguniang Kabataan, Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City.

Raj is the President of Youth for Empowerment and Progress and an elected member of the Local Youth Development Council of Muntinlupa City for the Global Mobility Pillar. He was also recognized as Rank 3 Overall – Most Outstanding Youth Leader by the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) of the City Government of Muntinlupa.

🎯 Layunin ng programa na bigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng kabataang mamamayan sa pagpapaunlad ng pamayanan at hikayatin silang maging aktibong katuwang sa pagsusulong ng makabuluhang adbokasiya sa barangay.

💡 Ito ay isang pagkakataon para makilahok, makapagpahayag, at makiisa sa mas malawak na misyon para sa pagbabago. Ang inyong presensya ay mahalaga at inaasahan.

Munting Ngiti Para sa Batang Munti last December 13, 2025, at DRT Covered Court proudly marks its 11th year—an annual initiative spearheaded by Youth for Empowerment and Progress Muntinlupa (YEP Muntinlupa) and the Patdu Compound Youth Organization, in partnership with Kagawad Paul Bono Teves of Barangay Putatan, Barangay Chairman Gerry Teves, and SK Putatan. What began as a simple act of service has grown into a sustained commitment to bring hope, joy, and meaningful experiences to children in our community.

This year’s celebration was made more meaningful through the generous support of It’s Showtime Sample King Jhong Hilario and Ms. Maia Hilario, together with Hapee Kiddie Ambassador Sarina Oceanía Azores Hilario, who personally joined us in the distribution of gifts. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Lamoiyan Corporation, one of our major sponsors, for their invaluable support. Witnessing the happiness of 150 children this Christmas season truly reminded us of the power of collective generosity.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Our appreciation also goes to Dr. Paul Dela Vega, YEP Adviser and Founder, for his constant guidance and inspiration, as well as to all our partner youth organizations and volunteers who made this event possible.

Despite the challenges and fatigue, seeing the genuine smiles of the children made every effort worthwhile. In our own way, we hope to have made their Christmas season brighter.
