๐—ก๐—˜๐—ช๐—ฆ | FILIPINO YOUTH SUMMIT 2026: YOUR JOURNEY TOWARD CHANGE AND ENVIRONMENT BEGINS HERE.

The Filipino Youth Summit 2026, held from July 16-18, 2026, at De La Salle University, convened student leaders to discuss issues on culture, the environment, and governance. Among those who represented the school were Mr. Jules Baldwin T. Cruz, LPT, together with student leaders Isaiah Abbey G. Villanueva, Samantha Grace D. Austero, and Neil Cyrus P. Miranda.

Throughout the summit, attendees joined talks on heritage and marine conservation, policy pitching sessions, and leadership discussions with student and government representatives. The event highlighted the need for cultural respect, environmental action, and youth participation in nation-building. It also underscored that true leadership is about service, and that young Filipinos have a role to play in addressing the countryโ€™s challenges today.

๐—ก๐—˜๐—ช๐—ฆ | Student Film 'Oras na 'Di Kanya' Wins Hearts and Awards at UPLB

Lakewood School of Alabang won the Peopleโ€™s Choice Award and a Certificate of Recognition for their short film entry titled โ€œOras na โ€˜Di Kanyaโ€ in the โ€œSalaysay, Soskay: Kwento ng Lipunan" short film competition held today, June 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the University of the Philippines Los Baรฑos (UPLB). Lakewood Eljaro member ๐‰๐š๐ณ๐ฒ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ž ๐‰๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ก ๐‚. ๐„๐œ๐š๐ซ๐จ was awarded as one of the best actresses in the competition.

The club of UPLB Sociology Society, or โ€œHusay ng Soskay UPLB," held a short film competition with the theme โ€œMga Kwentong Buhay: Hamunin ang mga Naratibo, Balangkasin ang Katotohanan.โ€ The competition aimed to question the popular social narratives and use all films as a means to present reality and truths in society.

The adjudicators gave ๐‰๐š๐ณ๐ฒ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ž ๐‰๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ก ๐‚. ๐„๐œ๐š๐ซ๐จ the opportunity to be congratulated for her acting performance as well as the club's adviser, ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐๐š๐ฅ๐๐ฐ๐ข๐ง ๐“. ๐‚๐ซ๐ฎ๐ณ, for guiding the Lakewood Eljaro Club for the highly regarded film project.

On March 30, 2026, the Lakewood School of Alabang held its 13th Recognition Day. The ceremony started by honoring not only the students' accomplishments but also the hard work and potential of the next generation of leaders. Lakewoodians, teachers, admin, and staff altogether celebrated the end of the school year with a mix of inflatables and water fun at Lakewood School of Alabang Inc., on March 19 2026.

The day began with learners full of energy around 4:30 PM queuing for three different water-filled inflatables. Both food and Photo booth stalls were available, along with music in the air playing via live band. Imahe, Multo, Umaasa and more sang by the Elijaro glee club members Francis Resonable, Claire Cruz, and Jairus Corda plus Mr. Jhon Mark Permejo and Ms. Livia Montemayor who joined at the moment in an open mic segment. To help add more water and fun, the Barangay Putatan Fire Rescue was invited and made a splash.

At 7:30 PM the fun had come to an end with smiles brighter than ever, and lifelong memories were made. Marking the official closing of School Year 2025-2026 the Lakewoodian way.

๐—ก๐—˜๐—ช๐—ฆ | Valentines Day Celebration: Twice the Love and Twice the Joy

A cheerful morning at Lakewood School of Alabang Inc., students and teachers celebrated Valentine's Day to show love and appreciation to those who matter to them most, hosted by the Lakewood Wolves Council on February 13, 2026.

The day began with opening remarks from Lakewood Wolves Council Adviser, Ms. Liezl Bagnol, afterwards the booths were introduced, a freedom wall, color yarn, hand cuffs, get to know each other, photo booths, flowers, and the biggest hit of all that had everyone screaming, the wedding booth. Then, games like Bring me and jail booth took part as well, followed by a flash mob performance by the Elijaro Movers and a spoken poetry speech about love from Mr. Ronnel Navarro, that sparked up the energy once more.

As the morning passed in a bliss, complementary Aice Ice Cream was given to all learners and a quick question and answer game was played with a pencil prize then, after an inspiring closing remark by Lakewood Wolves Council Adviser Mr. Hanzel Malobago concluded the event on joyful note.
