Today marks 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, wherein we recognize and celebrate every woman in the world. Let us take this as an opportunity to honor each woman’s strength, accomplishments, and contribution to our society. A friendly reminder that women are not just ‘girls’;they are voices that bridge us to a better and stronger world.

☘️ Let us empower every girl not just this month, but every day of our lives. Happy Women’s Day!

𝑮𝒆𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚, 𝒔𝒆𝒕, 𝑺𝑾𝑰𝑴! 🏊🏻‍♀️

On February 28, 2026, 10 Senior Girl Scouts of Muntinlupa Science High School participated in the 2026 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 of Rizal Council.

The event held at Lake Villa Resort, Binangonan, Rizal aims to teach the girls on water safety, basic swimming, and other life skills that may help them every day.

The girls were taught the following swimming lessons: flutter kick, butterfly swimming, and bubbling which turned preparedness into a positive and real action for the girls.

Additionally, they participated in activities such as taekwondo, teamwork maze, water volley, the teller and listener, and zumba.

The day closed with the Girl Scout motto “Be Prepared” being strengthened after a day of learning and fun activities.

𝑯𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂 𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒚, 𝒋𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒔, 𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍𝒔! 🎄

🎁 As the holiday season approaches, the Girl Scouts of Muntinlupa Science High School celebrates with a party. Prepared by Ma’am Jecynet Manansala and Ma’am Annie Gabiana, the party held games and prizes to lift up the girls’ Christmas spirit. To end the program, every girl received a mystery exchange gift, highlighting that Christmas is about what you 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞, not what you get. Today was not just a celebration for Christmas, but a time to celebrate every girl’s efforts this year and to unwind after the busy school year.

𝑫𝑨𝒀 𝑻𝑾𝑶: 𝑴𝑰𝑺𝑺𝑰𝑶𝑵 𝑺𝑼𝑪𝑪𝑬𝑺𝑺 ‼️

On December 7, the camp comes to an end; the girls were taught the final lessons. The first lecture was on knot tying, led by Mangkok Mountaineers wherein they taught knots that can be used during camping.

For the last lecture, CAT commandant Sir Adrian Suarnaba shared his expertise in fire safety. Applying PASS: pull, aim, squeeze, and sweep, the girls and CAT were given the chance to put out a fire on the school ground. 🧯

Afterwards, the students were given supplies to cook their own food. By applying the lessons taught the day before, both the Girl Scouts and the CAT were able to start a fire that they could use as their stove.

To close the program, the scouts were recognized for accomplishing the camp’s challenge. The special awards gave recognition to girls that greatly excelled in the camp and troops that worked together to make this event successful. 💚

𝑫𝑨𝒀 𝑶𝑵𝑬: 𝑪𝑯𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑬𝑵𝑮𝑬 𝑨𝑪𝑪𝑬𝑷𝑻𝑬𝑫 ☘️

On December 6, the GSP First Aid & Disaster Risks Reduction Camp began with the theme “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀’ 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: 𝗕𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆, 𝗕𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲!” The Girl Scouts of Muntinlupa Science High School (MSHS) and Pedro E. Diaz High School (PEDHS) were taught about necessary camp safety by the 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗸 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 through lectures. ⛑️

The first lecture was all about backpacking. The mountaineers presented the essential items to bring during a camp or a hike. Along with the presentation of items, they explained its purposes at camp and importance to scouts, saying it is crucial for scouts to learn how to pack and use the said items.

Second, “Leave No Trace” Principle wherein the girls were tasked to answer questions about camp essentials and how to respect the campsite.

For the third lecture, the girls were trained on basic first aid with CPR. The mountaineers explained types of wound and how to treat it using first aid. Additionally, they showed how to properly perform CPR on a baby, child, and adult, which the girls also demonstrated. Lastly, scouts were taught how bandage injuries using a neckerchief.

The night ended with a campfire accompanied by campfire skits and songs, bringing a warm close to the first day of camp. ✨

On October 12, 2025, the Girl Scouts of Muntinlupa Science High School (MSHS) participated in 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑳𝑶𝑵𝑮 𝑮𝑹𝑬𝑬𝑵 𝑳𝑰𝑵𝑬 at the Rizal Park, Manila.

To culminate the GSP Week Celebration, more than 2,000 Girl Scouts and Leaders actively participated in game booths, earning stamps with each game played—the girls were tasked to play at least three games to earn three stamps in order to obtain a certificate and badge.

This activity aims to highlight the legacy of the Movement in shaping the generations of empowered girls and women, showcasing vitality and relevance of Girl Scouting today.

Furthermore, this day serves as a celebration of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines’ (GSP) 85th year running as one and building nations through shaping generations of women across the country.

After finishing the activity, the girls along with troop leaders Ma’am Grace Cemanes, Ma’am Annie Rose Gabiana, and Ma’am Jecynet Manansala explored around Rizal park.

On September 20, 2025, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines of Muntinlupa Science High School proudly celebrate 𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗗𝗔 𝗗𝗔𝗬 in honor of our founder, Josefa Llanes Escoda. Today, we commemorate the birthday and legacy of the heroine that instilled the value of leadership, empowered women, and shaped the very core of our organization. This day serves as an opportunity to promote the core values of Girl Scouts such as to be trusted, loyal, and helpful and to emphasize the importance of empowering women across the nation. 💚

Greetings, MunScians! As the summer vacation draws to an end, the school is up and busy again. Check out the Girl Scouts at the Brigada Eskwela 2025🌟

In spite of the gloomy weather, scouts have volunteered to help the school prepare for another academic year. Our resilient girls have organized books to be used this school year, assisted in the first aid station, and took part in the Clean-Up Drive at the JHS building 3’s third and fourth floor halls. Their commitment undoubtedly shows the environment-friendly and helpful nature of true Girl Scouts! 💚

Let’s welcome this new journey with a secure and well-organized learning environment for new and returning students. Welcome back MunScians!
