"There is no force greater than a woman determined to rise"

A symbol of both grace and strength. Women continue to irrevocably show the world that they are more than what society aspires them to be 🌸

The world may be cruel and unjust but it is never too dim for a woman that shines her light through her sheer willpower and wit that aims to create and be part of change ♀️✊🏻

A woman may be told to shrink into society's mold but her dreams will always overflow and her identity will tower over all prejudice that stands in her way 💫

Her Voice. Her Power. Our Future. ✨

We stand on the shoulders of giants. This March, we celebrate the women who lead, the women who inspire, and the women who dare to be themselves.

Join us in honoring every woman’s contribution to our nation and our community.

“Don't ignore the red flags just because you want to see green."

🔴 Red Flags are warning signs we shouldn’t ignore—control, disrespect, lack of consent, manipulation, jealousy disguised as love, and silence that invalidates your feelings. Love should never hurt, frighten, or limit who you are. 🌷

🟢 Green Flags remind us what healthy relationships look like—mutual respect, open communication, trust, consent, accountability, and support for each other’s growth. A healthy partner listens, values boundaries, and encourages you to be your best self. 💗

💞 Knowing the difference empowers us to choose relationships that are safe and nurturing. Let’s normalize healthy love, call out harmful behavior, and support one another in building relationships rooted in respect and understanding.

🌱 Remember: you deserve a relationship that feels safe, heard, and valued—always.

"The first problem for all of us, men and women, is not to learn, but to unlearn." — Gloria Steinem 🎀

💡 Gender Sensitivity 101: It’s about understanding, respecting, and valuing people of all genders—recognizing their experiences, identities, and voices without bias or discrimination. Education is the first step toward empathy, and empathy is the foundation of an inclusive community.

🤝 By being gender-sensitive, we create spaces where everyone feels safe to express who they are, free from stereotypes, judgment, and harm. It means choosing our words carefully, listening actively, and standing up when we see inequality.

🌈 Let’s learn, unlearn, and grow together. A respectful and inclusive community starts with awareness—and that awareness starts with US. Together, we can build a campus culture rooted in dignity, equality, and mutual respect for all. ✨

📣 Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) is a law created for women and children who have been abused and silenced for years, if not decades. This law not only protects women’s and children’s rights but also prevents further abuse of them due to the harsh and reasonable fines and punishments.

☝🏻 Be the solution, not the pollution: VAWC has not only protected and prevented but also sparked women’s and children’s voices, those who have been abused, harmed, and harassed. It showed us awareness, gave the solution, and prevented many more cases.💪🏻

🗣️ By advocating and spreading your voice, we can protect women and children from today's harsh and cruel world. VAWC was created for the safety, security, and strength of women and children who have been abused and scared. Scared to voice out, scared that no one would listen, and scared that their experience and their pain wouldn’t matter. However, with VAWC, this has helped these women and children to stand up, speak out, and be brave. 💗

What's up, Munscians? 💚

💞 The Student Gender and Development Council (SGDC) is back at it again by inviting everyone to support our 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children. Held from November 25 to December 12, 2025, we encourage you to participate in our DP Blast, striving for excellence while using your voice to stand against violence and abuse. 💪🏻

☝🏻 We stand with our community to renew our commitment: to build a safe, inclusive, and violence against women and children (VAWC)-free environment where every woman and child is heard, valued, and protected. Let us unite to drive awareness, compassion, and definitive action for a violence-free Philippines. 🌏

"Babae ka hindi babae lang!"

‎Over the centuries, violence against women has been the darkest and most prevalent part of our history.

‎It is constant and never-ending. The light beyond the dark tunnel was almost never found with the rising cases of violence and harassment that occurred towards females, some even taking place in their own homes.

‎But as time goes on, hope is finally within our eye's reach. As women broke away from the shackles of prejudice and spoke up amidst the silence of mistreatment, their rights and voices are starting to be heard.

‎But the fight is far from over and we have yet to see the light beyond the dark tunnels of history.

‎Our responsibility as a community still stands. We must uphold the promise of creating a world for women that doesn't steal, doesn't abuse, and doesn't take advantage.

‎Educate, Inform, Advocate.

‎We rise as one against violence.
