“A Day of Pride: AES Learners Shine at Araw ng Pagkilala 2026”
MUNTINLUPA CITY – A spirit of pride, joy, and inspiration filled Alabang Elementary School as it celebrated its Araw ng Pagkilala 2026 on March 26, honoring learners who have demonstrated excellence in both academics and character. Anchored on the theme “Pilipinong Nagsipagtapos: Handang Mamuno nang may Kakayahan at Mabuting Pagkatao,” the event showcased the school’s commitment to shaping future-ready and values-driven individuals.
The celebration opened with solemn and patriotic rites, including the Philippine National Anthem, an audio-visual prayer, the Muntinlupa March, and the SDO Hymn. Dr. Raul T. Felix, School Principal IV, delivered an inspiring message underscoring the importance of perseverance, discipline, and integrity in achieving success.
One of the most meaningful highlights was the symbolic transfer of responsibility between the outgoing and incoming SELG officers, reflecting readiness for leadership and continued commitment to excellence.
Adding inspiration to the program, Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Yaledegler C. Maligaya encouraged parents to remain active partners in their children’s educational journey. The audience was then warmly introduced to the guest speaker by Ma’am Maila C. Lorenzo, Master Teacher I.
The highlight of the program was the message from Hon. Christine May Abas-Ding, Barangay Chairperson and proud alumna of the school. Her heartfelt words reminded learners to dream big, stay determined, and value education as their strongest foundation for the future. She also emphasized the vital role of parents in guiding and supporting their children.
In recognition of her unwavering support, a Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to Hon. Abas-Ding.
The awarding of medals celebrated the outstanding achievements of learners, beginning with SPED, followed by Grades 6, 5, and 1. The AES Dance Ambassadors energized the crowd with a lively intermission number before the continuation of recognition rites for Grades 2, 3, and 4.
A touching moment of unity was felt during the community singing of “Mapa,” bringing together learners, teachers, and parents in a shared expression of gratitude and pride.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Ma’am Sahlee Y. Donceras, Master Teacher I, followed by the singing of the AES Hymn—marking not just the end of a program, but the beginning of greater journeys ahead for AES learners.
Indeed, Araw ng Pagkilala 2026 was a celebration of excellence, resilience, and hope—where learners shone brightly and future leaders took their first steps toward success.
