The entire Society of Animal Science - CLSU Mother Chapter family extends its utmost congratulations as we honor our Brother and Sister's remarkable achievement on finishing their Master's Degree last July 4, 2026, during the 54th Commencement Exercises held by the University of the Philippines - Los Baños, at Copeland Gymnasium, Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines.

Brod Roumar earned his Master's Degree in Animal Science, Major in Animal Breeding, and Minor in Quantitative Genetics. While Sis LJ received her Master's Degree in Animal Science, Major in Animal Nutrition, and Minor in Biochemistry. They were both a recipient if DOST-ASTHRDP scholarship.

Brod Roumar and Sis LJ are among the 344 graduate's program candidate that participated in 20th Hooding and Recognition Ceremony of the UPLB Graduate's School where they were awarded by their Master's Degree.

This achievement is a testament of your perseverance, hard work, and your unwavering commitment towards higher learning. May this create an avenue opening doors to even greater opportunities.

Last July 1, 2026, The Society Of Animal Science - CLSU Mother Chapter meet with an esteemed alumni of their own, Brother Marlon C. Aragon and Brother Roel Rojas, after conducting their meeting at the SAS park.

Marlon "Nano" C. Aragon is the founder of SAS-ALAS and serves as the current admin of its page that aims to unite the Alumni Association of our Brothers and Sisters across the country and the globe.

“𝑺𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒕 𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒉𝒐𝒏 𝒏𝒚𝒐 𝒔𝒂 𝒌𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒉𝒊𝒚𝒐, 𝒌𝒂𝒚𝒂 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒊𝒕.” These were the words Brod Marlon and Brod Roel left that entails something worth cherishing and longing for. Whether this college journey of yours is a four-year or six-year course for some, it will pass by in a blink of an eye. As short as it gets, yet, it is packed with life-long experiences and knowledge that you will surely miss.

Through this meeting, Brod Marlon was also able to immerse the current members of the society to its essence of brotherhood, especially the graduating batch. As the most active alumni of SAS, one could not only follow his lead but also be influenced to participate and still be part of the organization even after graduating, honouring the camaraderie that transcends beyond the four corners of a classroom in the university.
