𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. 🌠

To celebrate the 𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 of the 𝗖𝗟𝗦𝗨 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀, the resident members visited the 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗴𝗲 in Brgy. Palestina, San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, spending the day with the children through different activities such as dancing and spelling. 🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Running independently for eight years, this refuge home has taken care of not less than 50 kids. 🧸 Their story and initiative guide us back to Dr. Jose Rizal's famous quote "𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙠𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙜-𝙖𝙨𝙖 𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣," which aligns to DOST Scholars' mantra: "𝙄𝙨𝙠𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣, 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣," showing us the significance of giving back to the people through the youth. 🌱📚

Today marks the 𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 of the 𝗖𝗟𝗦𝗨 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀. Rooted in their shared passion to serve the country and its citizens, the organization built a family that continuously carries the torch of advocacy of bridging the gap between science and the people. 🦾🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

So, we enter another year with CLSU ADS, let us look back and replay the memories of what made us what we are today. From the organizational booths fair to the year-end tribute, we have paved the way for our organization to thrive. 🌅

And that’s a wrap for the Scholarship Campaign!✨

Held last March 6, 2026 at Muñoz National High School, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija, in partnership with PSTO Nueva Ecija, this event brought together junior high school students to explore the opportunities offered by the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Program.

Opportunities like this help students discover the possibilities ahead of them. By empowering young Filipino learners early, we hope to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators whose knowledge and passion will not only transform their own futures, but also contribute to the progress of our nation.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲!🫵🏼😋 Your journey wasn’t easy, but you showed consistency, effort, and heart every step of the way.

The Post-Recruitment Activity, held at Lingap Kalikasan Park🌳, served as a meaningful culmination of this journey. In line with the university’s energy conservation efforts, the outdoor setting brought everyone closer to nature and created a more refreshing🍃 and relaxed environment🙈. The program started with a fun and engaging icebreaker🧊, where participants connected through a Human Bingoactivity developed in collaboration with psychology students, making the experience more interactive and insightful🥳.

This was followed by the much-awaited batch presentation of Batch Atria✨, where they proudly introduced their identity🎤and the meaning behind their name, reflecting their unity and purpose as a new generation of members. From this point forward, they are challenged to live by the organization’s principle of For Excellence and Not for Mediocrity in everything that they do⭐️.

The highlight of the event was the 𝙤𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜✋🏻👩🏻 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮🧷🤏🏼, where the new members officially took their place in the organization. As they recited their oath and received their pins, it marked not just their acceptance, but the beginning of their responsibility and commitment to uphold the values of the organization.

The celebration continued with an energetic dance performance featuring Girl in the Mirror and Hawak Mo ang Beat, bringing confidence, fun, and excitement as the new members truly owned the moment.

📍𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐓 | Highlights from the Mental Health Webinar

The 𝐂𝐋𝐒𝐔 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 (𝐀𝐃𝐒) recently hosted "𝐍𝐨 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝-𝐀𝐢𝐝𝐬, 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 — 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞", featuring 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐀. 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳, 𝐑𝐏𝐦, a 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧. During the session, she shared her expertise in human behavior and emotions, guiding participants on how to recognize early signs of mental distress and provide meaningful support to those who may be struggling.

She reminded everyone that helping someone often begins with 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟. While a single sign may not signal a crisis, consistent or worsening changes should never be ignored.

The participants also learned practical ways to support those struggling: 𝐛𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦 during moments of panic attacks or emotional breakdowns. One key takeaway? 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬—𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬.

Furthermore, Miss Cruz introduced the 𝐀𝐋𝐆𝐄𝐄 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧, a simple guide to support someone who may be experiencing a mental health
problem or crisis. ALGEE stands for 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬, 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲, 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬.
