The Wag-Wag Club of Science City of Muñoz held its Past Presidents and Officers Meeting on July 22, 2026, at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Hall, led by Councilor Cesar "Jun" T. Viloria, Jr., President of the Wag-Wag Club, with Vice Mayor Nestor L. Alvarez, PhD, serving as host and adviser.
The meeting was attended by the club's past presidents and officers, including Past President Councilor Marianito "Jun" Pacheco, Past President Councilor Vincent D.V. Alvarez, Past President Dr. Edmond Balmeo (Former City Councilor), Councilor Rommel G. Abon, Councilor Jerry S. Fulgencio, Mr. Roberto S. Almuete, President of the Federation of Brgy. Kagawad, City Administrator Dr. Raul D. Divina, POSO Head Emmanuel C. Bustamante, Mr. Anjing Lazaro, Head of the City Motorpool, Ms. Ria V. Sajor, Mr. Devin Sagun, Deputy Secretary, and members of the Secretariat: Augustus Miguel A. Alvaran, Christian S. Pablo, Adriane P. Miranda and Kenneth Garces
Among the key agenda discussed was the opening of new membership for individuals who are residents of Science City of Muñoz, business owners operating within the city, those with roots in Muñoz, or individuals married to a Muñozonian. The officers also approved the membership renewal starting August 2026, with an annual fee of ₱1,000, inclusive of the official Wag-Wag Club token and three (3) entrance coupons for the Annual Anniversary and Grand Ball on December 29, 2026.
The club also reviewed and finalized its calendar of activities, including the successful Tree Planting Activity held on July 21, the upcoming Gift Giving and Feeding Program on July 23 at the Day Care Center in science City (Pagasa) Gymnasium, and the Beauty and Care for Senior Citizens Program on July 29. Preparations are likewise underway for the Open Invitation Pickleball Tournament, Fingerling Dispersal Program, and the Wag-Wag Club Anniversary and Grand Ball on December 29, 2026, with the theme "Bigkis ng Pagkakaisa Tungo sa Kasaganahan" (United in Solidarity Towards Prosperity). This year's celebration will feature a Barrio Fiesta motif, with attendees strictly to wear Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana attire.
The meeting also approved the creation of the Committee on Awards and Recognition for the Outstanding Muñozonian Award, which will be chaired by Past President Councilor Allan S. Pingol, with Councilor Vincent D.V. Alvarez as Vice Chairperson and Councilor Marianito "Jun" Pacheco as Co-Vice Chairperson. Committee members include Dr. Raul D. Divina, Dr. Edmond Balmeo, Mr. Anjing Lazaro, Emmanuel C. Bustamante, and Mr. Devin Carl P. Sagun.
