The Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Montevista Davao De Oro once again extended its compassion to the community through the Abot Pag-asa Program held on October 25, 2025, at Barangay Lebanon, Montevista, Davao de Oro. This marks the second time the organization has successfully conducted this meaningful outreach initiative, reaffirming its commitment to youth empowerment and community service.
The event was graced by the Barangay Officials headed by Hon. Fortunato V. Degamo, the Punong Barangay, whose support and presence inspired everyone involved. A total of 94 children joyfully received slippers, hygiene kits, and loaf bags filled with sweets and biscuits, and burgers bringing smiles and hope to their young hearts.
Furthermore, the program would not have been possible without the unwavering leadership of the newly installed PYAP President, Mr. Charls Deo Seรฑagan Melecio, and the steadfast support of the Municipal Officials headed by Mayor Cyrex Labrador Basalo, RN, (for our transportation), Maโam Janet V. Villahermosa, RSW (OIC-MSWDO) and Ms. Leonora Basay Seรฑagan Asumbrado (CAC Lebanon). Deep appreciation is also extended to Mr. Robert D. Caro, the Youth Service Provider, for his dedication and technical support, which greatly contributed to the success of the activity.
Lastly, heartfelt gratitude goes to the private benefactor and her whole family whose generosity made this outreach endeavor even more meaningful and impactful. The spirit of unity, service, and compassion truly lives on through the Abot Pag-asa Program from the young hearts that truly serve.๐
