In the spirit of unity and solidarity, the Samahan ng mga Presidente ng MonCAST, in collaboration with Project Lumon, brings together diverse voices for a meaningful one-day symposium dedicated to peacebuilding through dialogue.

Panagduyog serves as a safe space where different religious, social, and cultural groups come together to share perspectives, break barriers, and address stereotypes and misconceptions. Through open conversations and mutual understanding, we move forward as one community—stronger, more inclusive, and united in building peace.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐋𝐮𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕

Project Lumon formally convened its first general meeting, yesterday, March 1, 2026. Signifying an important foundational milestone in the organization’s institutional development. The meeting was established and presided over by Kayce Davis and Al Azam C. Manucang, who articulated the guiding principles, core objectives, and long-term vision that will shape the direction of the organization. Their leadership underscored the importance of structured governance, collaborative engagement, and strategic planning as essential components of sustainable growth.

During the meeting, comprehensive discussions were held regarding the organization’s upcoming programs, planned activities, and projected initiatives for the forthcoming term. Emphasis was placed on fostering active member participation, promoting transparency in decision-making processes, and ensuring alignment between the organization’s mission and its operational strategies. The session also provided an avenue for clarifying roles, expectations, and responsibilities, thereby establishing a clear framework for accountability and collective effort.

As its inaugural gathering, the meeting not only marked the official commencement of Project Lumon’s activities but also reflected a shared commitment to purposeful action and organizational excellence. It set a strong precedent for future engagements, grounded in professionalism, unity, and a steadfast dedication to achieving meaningful and lasting impact.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐋𝐮𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐊 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲

On December 27, 2025, at Barangay Union, Project Lumon was invited to speak on intercultural respect and solidarity among the Tri-People in celebration of the Youth Day of SK Union. The session emphasized understanding, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence among Indigenous Peoples, Muslims, and Christians as foundations of a harmonious community.

The engagement encouraged youth participants to embrace diversity as a strength and to take active roles in fostering dialogue, cooperation, and unity within their barangay. Through this meaningful celebration, Project Lumon reaffirmed its commitment to youth-led peacebuilding and intercultural collaboration at the grassroots level.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐋𝐮𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐊𝐊 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐎𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐜𝐨𝐧

On December 21, 2025, Kayce Davis, the Interim President of Project Lumon, was invited to introduce the project to the KK Assembly of Barangay Olaycon. The presentation emphasized Project Lumon’s commitment to creating safe and inclusive spaces where young people from diverse faith and cultural backgrounds can engage in meaningful dialogue and mutual understanding.

The discussion also underscored the importance of youth participation in promoting peace, respect, and social cohesion at the barangay level. Through partnerships with local leaders and youth councils, Project Lumon aims to strengthen interfaith cooperation and empower young leaders to take active roles in community-building initiatives.

On December 13, 2025, the Monkayo Muslim Youth Organization (MMYO), through its flagship peacebuilding and inclusion initiative Project Lumon, actively participated in the Barangay Youth Day and Year-End Celebration organized by Sangguniang Kabataan of Naboc.

As part of the program, MMYO President and Project Lumon Founder Al Azam C. Manucang was invited as a guest speaker to discuss “Social Inclusion and Equity through Understanding Intercultural Respect and Solidarity towards the Tri-People of Monkayo.” His talk emphasized the value of mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation among the Lumad, Muslim, and Christian communities, collectively known as the Tri-People of Monkayo.

Manucang highlighted the crucial role of the youth in advancing inclusive dialogue and strengthening social cohesion within diverse communities. He stressed that intercultural respect and solidarity are essential foundations for sustainable peace and community development.

The activity was attended by 60 participants, composed of youth leaders, students, and community members from Barangay Naboc. Participants actively engaged in the discussion, reflecting on their responsibilities as young advocates of unity, inclusivity, and peace.

The participation of MMYO through Project Lumon reinforced the organization’s commitment to promoting social inclusion and equity at the grassroots level. The event concluded with a renewed call for the youth to become active partners in fostering intercultural understanding and harmonious coexistence within Monkayo.
