Section 16(a)(7) of the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 10742, as amended by Republic Act No. 11768, provides the grant of Civil Service Eligibility to all Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials in good standing, whether elected or appointed, during their incumbency, based on the years of service rendered to the barangay, pursuant to the guidelines, rules, and regulations to be promulgated by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
Pursuant to this provision, the CSC Resolution No. 2500752, dated July 24, 2025, and made publicly accessible in October 2025, officially provides for the Grant of Sangguniang Kabataan Eligibility (SKOE) under Republic Act No. 11768, titled โRules Governing the Grant of Eligibility to Sangguniang Kabataan Officials (SKOs).โ
In line with this, the National Youth Commission (NYC) spearheaded the National Orientation on the Guidelines on the Grant of CSC Eligibility for SK Officials (SKOs).
The ๐บ๐ฒ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ attended the said orientation via Zoom meeting, together with other youth leaders nationwide, to gain a deeper understanding of the new guidelines governing the grant of CSC eligibility for SK officials.
