Joy is a fundamental gift for warding off evil.😄

We all know what suffering is, but we also know that we can give it meaning. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was meant to grant us resurrection and joy. People, projects, and achievements may bring us joy for a time, but true joy can only be found in Love itself. It springs from embracing Him on the cross, through the difficulties and pains He endured. It is more than mere overcoming—it is a gift we receive from His surrender, from His self-giving and resurrection. Let us pray and seek the gift of joy. To give joy means doing good.💞😁

As a manifestation of God's presence, love is always an act of giving.🤲❤

The very essence of love lies in giving, forgiving, coming together, sharing, starting anew, and so on, thereby overcoming selfishness. To love means doing good even when we believe someone doesn't deserve it. To love means sharing time and energy; it means investing effort, committing oneself, and overcoming fatigue. Love is a decision and an action that begins with intention; yet if it remains merely an idea, it is nothing but an illusion. Love is a way of living.. one that transforms into concrete "action" and demands from us each day the gift of starting anew. It is about transforming our lives through acts of love. 💞

Truth, understood in various ways, is deeply connected to God and His love in the Scriptures. 🙏❤

We know that our convictions, knowledge, and spiritual thoughts, although good and true, are limited. Without God, our "truths" can be relative; we can embrace the Spirit of Truth by allowing ourselves to be guided by goodness and accepting His inspirations. The Word, faith, inner life, prayer, and seeking the sacraments do not make us masters of truth, but rather open our hearts to unite us with God and our brothers. Be guided by truth and goodness. ✨

Those who believe in Love become a beacon of life for many. For the residents of Fazenda da Esperança, this belief is fundamental. Those who trust in the power of the Word and put it into action bring positive changes to their own lives—improving their attitudes and fostering healthy relationships with others. Just as we care for our spiritual family, we may be willing to do the same for our natural family. To be a family means loving through concrete actions. 💞🤝

The growth in our inner lives occurs through loving others who are different from us. 🙏

A volunteer living with those in one of our homes noticed someone who had arrived with only the clothes they were wearing. Since they were of the same size, he gave half of his clothes to him; young girls in our communities take on the responsibility of caring for women with health issues. Volunteers from the Living Hope Group dedicate themselves to helping other families; parents whose children are recovering assist other parents in helping their children. 🤝

Love that is not tangible is hardly true love. Only love truly matters. 💞
