A leader defined by service, integrity, and commitment, PP Ralph has consistently demonstrated excellence in advancing the ideals of Rotaract. As he takes on this significant role, we are confident in his vision to further strengthen unity, elevate service impact, and inspire Rotaractors across the district.

From every corner of Midsayap, youth converged, carrying dreams, fears, and determination to shape a safer tomorrow.

The Rotaract Club of Midsayap actively participated in the Peace Midsayap: Youth Leadership Summit. In a town where recent clashes forced families from their homes and children watched their streets empty with fear, the summit became a space of hope and learning.

Under the guidance of the 34th Infantry Battalion and the Local Government Unit of Midsayap, young leaders gathered to learn and practice first aid, teamwork, and resilience, not just as skills, but as tools to protect and uplift their communities. Through drills, exercises, and shared activities, laughter returned to the training grounds, bonds were formed, and a sense of purpose took root: even small actions by youth can ripple into lasting peace.

By the end, they learned that peace is courage in action. With hearts ready, they carry hope for a safer Midsayap. Step up and be part of the change.

In its 2nd year, the End Polio Run brought together communities from Midsayap and neighboring provinces, filling streets with color, music, and movement for a cause that truly matters. The Rotaract Club of Midsayap, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Midsayap, united runners and volunteers to take a stand against polio.

Runners of all ages joined, showing that fitness can do more than strengthen the body, it can save lives. Every step supported vaccination campaigns and spread the message that every child deserves protection from polio.

In advancing inclusive education, Project BULIG-EDUKASYON Year III empowered 60 SNED learners through targeted weekend interventions that strengthened literacy and numeracy skills. At least 80% showed improved reading comprehension via Phil-IRI, 75% enhanced basic math skills through RMA, and 100% received individualized progress assessments to guide classroom instruction.

Through structured sessions led by Rotaractors and education student partners, learners engaged in adaptive reading, writing, and numeracy activities designed to overcome cognitive and developmental barriers: creating a safe, supportive academic space where every child learns at their own pace.

Planting calamansi will open opportunities for beneficiaries to build a source of livelihood: transforming harvests into calamansi juice that empowers them to earn and sustain their daily needs.

In the community, calamansi evolves from a simple harvest into a meaningful drink that helps combat hunger.

Through the initiative of turning freshly harvested calamansi into nutritious juice, the Rotaract Club of Midsayap transformed a local resource into a powerful response to food insecurity. By maximizing what is locally grown, the project not only promotes health and nutrition but also adds value to community produce.

From harvesting to preparation, volunteers worked hand in hand to ensure that no resource goes to waste. Every step reflected unity, purpose, and service: proving that small, practical actions can create lasting impact in improving food sustainability.

What was once waste is now a building block for change.

Through the Ecoblocks initiative, the Rotaract Club of Midsayap helped transform waste into a resource by turning discarded glass bottles into durable construction blocks. This effort shows how environmental action can create practical solutions for community development.

Working closely with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, volunteers collected and processed glass waste, converting it into ecoblocks that can be used for community structures and projects. By repurposing waste materials, the initiative reduces landfill waste while promoting sustainable building alternatives.

In places where healthcare is far, service brings hope closer

In communities where access to healthcare remains a challenge, collective action becomes a lifeline. Through a community medical outreach in Lomopog, Midsayap, Cotabato, the Rotaract Club of Midsayap, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Midsayap, brought essential healthcare services closer to residents living in far-flung areas where basic medical care is often beyond reach.

The outreach delivered medical consultations, dental services, and minor surgical procedures such as Operation Bukol and Operation Tuli, enabling patients to receive safe and immediate treatment within their own community. Free medicines and medical guidance were also provided to help families take meaningful steps toward better health and well-being.

More than a medical mission, the initiative reflects the power of collaboration—where compassion, service, and partnership come together to uplift lives.

Empowering Communities Through Planting Hope: Calamansi for Health, Livelihood, and the Environment

In celebration of Nutrition Month that centers on food security, the Rotaract Club of Midsayap took action to support environmental protection and sustainable community development by planting a total of 210 calamansi seedlings at the Midsayap Sanitary Landfill, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Midsayap, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources, Municipal Nutrition Council, BLGUs of Brgy. Milaya and Arizona, Southern Christian College and I-Link College of Science and Technology, promoting greener spaces while creating opportunities for livelihood.

Calamansi was chosen for its versatility, it can be used for food, medicine, cleaning, and livelihood products, showing how environmental initiatives can provide communities with practical economic opportunities. By planting these trees today, communities are creating sources of income while also improving their environment.

At Miguel Intes Elementary School in Central Katingawan, Midsayap, Cotabato, mentoring took center stage during Bulig Edukasyon Year III. Over three sessions, Rotaractors and partner organizations worked closely with SNED Pupils, guiding them through numeracy and literacy at a pace they could follow.

Mentoring here wasn’t just about teaching letters or numbers, it was about patience, encouragement, and creating an inclusive space where SNED pupils felt seen, supported, and valued. Some students stumbled, some laughed at mistakes, and some celebrated small victories. Each moment showed that mentoring is about walking alongside someone, believing in their growth, and offering support every step of the way.

Through these sessions, we saw that real change comes from consistent guidance, care, and shared effort.

In Mt. Agkir-Agkir, Libungan, Cotabato, life can be tough for children who grow up with limited access to clean water and sanitation. During a community outreach, PP Darwin Montenegro took the time to teach them the proper way to wash their hands, turning a simple habit into an important lesson in health and care.

It was more than just a lesson, it was a simple but powerful reminder that even small habits can protect health and prevent sickness. With curious eyes and eager hands, the kids learned, laughed, and practiced alongside him, turning a basic routine into a moment of care, connection, and hope.

In places where resources are limited, knowledge becomes a gift and every small step toward better hygiene can make a big difference.

In celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan, the Rotaract Club of Midsayap joined the Youth Expo to celebrate the strength and potential of young people in shaping their communities. Through fun and interactive team activities, Rotaractors and fellow youth connected, collaborated, and learned the value of teamwork and leadership.

More than just games, the experience created moments of trust, laughter, and shared purpose, reminding everyone that when young people come together, meaningful change becomes possible.

The Rotaract Club of Midsayap is inviting Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Councils who are interested in collaborating for an upcoming Leadership Training and Partnership Building Seminar. This initiative aims to strengthen youth leadership, promote community engagement, and build meaningful partnerships among youth organizations.

We are currently open for partnership with SK Councils who would like to host or co-organize this leadership activity in their barangay.
