For the whole span of November, Miagao National High School, together with the KPSEP Club, will celebrate National Values Month, an occasion that honors the moral foundation of every Filipino. This celebration highlights the importance of upholding integrity, respect, love of country, and compassion in our daily lives.

All students from Grade 7 to 10 are warmly invited to join the following contests! These activities are a fun and meaningful way to celebrate and showcase your understanding of the values we honor and live by every day.

For the Month of November, the Value that the Department of Education (DepEd) encourages us to focus on is Nationalism. Nationalism is defined as a great or too great love of your own country. It is the deep sense of pride, loyalty, and devotion that every Filipino should have toward the Philippines. Being nationalistic means valuing our history, respecting our heroes, and protecting the rights and freedoms they fought for. It also means showing love for our country not only through words but through actions—by being responsible citizens, supporting local products, conserving our natural resources, and promoting peace and unity in our communities.

As students and future leaders, we must remember that nationalism starts with simple acts—speaking our national language, honoring our flag, and giving our best in everything we do for the good of our country. When we practice these values every day, we help shape a nation that stands strong, proud, and united.
