Last May 18, fourth year Fisheries students from the University of the Philippines Visayas conducted a Service Learning Project under FISH 150 โ Fisheries Management entitled ๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ค๐จ๐-๐๐๐ ๐๐ญ: ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ง ๐
๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ.
The activity served as a platform for learning and community engagement that promoted awareness on fisheries management, marine conservation, and the importance of community participation in protecting coastal resources. ๐
With deep gratitude, the DHC โ Daluyon and Holy Carp Team would like to thank the communities of Barangay Banuyao, Barangay Baybay Norte, and Barangay Mambatad for their warm welcome, trust, and support throughout the activity. Thank you for allowing us to share meaningful discussions and experiences with the youth and community members, and for joining us in promoting coastal stewardship and sustainable fisheries management. ๐
