Mission Accomplished.

Yesterday, Team Kaugmaon conducted a face-to-face activity in Barangay Siwaragan, San Joaquin, Iloilo, as part of the "Paglilok kay Princesa at Juaquin: Carving Youth’s Perception towards HIV/AIDS Awareness" program. The activity was comprised of peer discussions about gender-sensitive sexual health and rights education.

Such activity will not be possible without the support and contributions of Barangay Siwaragan, and we would like to express our utmost gratitude to Kagawad Johnson Sibaton for accommodating us.

Meet our speaker for today’s event!!

She is a Medical Technologist ll in the City Health Office and Laboratory & Social Hygiene Clinic. She had her undergraduate at the University of the Philippines-Visayas: a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, and her graduate studies at the University of Makati: Masters in Development Management and Governance.

She is a trained HIV/AIDS Peer Educator and Counsellor in charge of the City Health Social Hygiene Clinic in Puerto Princesa City.

Kaugmaon is a student-led NSTP-Civic Welfare Training Service group at the University of the Philippines-Visayas. It has committed itself to develop a productive discussion on sexual health education, specifically sexually transmitted diseases and HIV/AIDS awareness.

Kaugmaon is a student-led NSTP-Civic Welfare Training Service group at University of the Philippines-Visayas. It has committed itself to develop a productive discussion on sexual health education, specifically on sexually transmitted diseases and HIV/AIDS awareness.

Now in its implementation, the youth and student sector of Puerto Princesa City is one of the selected target participants for its main event: “Paglilok kay Princesa at Juaquin: Carving Youth’s Perception towards HIV/AIDS Awareness.” The event serves as an avenue for promoting a safe and inclusive discourse on gender-sensitive sexual health and rights education through webinars and educational kits as supplemental information material.

The Kaugmaon’s Paglilok kay Princesa at Juaquin is a free webinar that will be held on March 25, 2023, from 1 pm-3 pm (Zoom details will be sent to participants once they are officially registered). The highlight of the webinar is the discussions of guest speakers with expertise in sexual health education(further details about the guest speakers will be released before the event).
